국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 패션 분야에서 지속가능한 3D 프린팅 기술을 이용한 사례를 분석하여 지속가능 성장을 위한 3D 프린팅 패션 디자인의 발전방향을 모색하는 것이다. 연구방법은 문헌연구를 중심으로 지속가능성의 개념과 디자인 접근을 고찰하였다. 3D 프린팅 패션 이미지는 포털사이트 네이버와 구글, 이미지 검색기반인 핀터레스트, 3D 프린팅 전문사이트 등을 중심으로 3D 프린팅 패션이 시작되는 2010년 이후 제작된 사례들을 고찰하였다. 3D 프린팅 기술의 지속가능성은 적층 제조 기술로 인하여 제조 공정에 따르는 페기물의 감소와 다품종 소량 생산으로 잉여 생산물이 없어 환경 보존 효과가 있고 원자재 절약, 생산 비용이 절감되었다. 또한 3D 디지털 데이터 공유로 인해 어느 지역에서나 직접 제조가 가능하고 생산자와 사용자의 공평성에도 영향을 주었다. 지속가능 3D 프린팅 패션 디자인의 사례를 통하여 지속가능 3D 프린팅 패션 디자인은 생태계의 조형, 유기적 과정, 생성 알고리즘을 표현하는 디지털 자연주의형, 가벼운 무게 대비 강한 강도의 형태를 유지시키는 자원절감 레이어형, 딱딱한 3D 프린팅 출력물을 구조적으로 보완하여 드레이프성과 유동성을 표현하는 효율적 유닛 연결형, 아이템의 확장과 사용자의 참여를 유도하는 다기능 모듈형, 3D 프린팅의 부족한 기술력을 보완하는 상생적 기술융합형이 있었다. 본 연구를 토대로 3D 프린팅 패션디자인이 지속가능한 방향으로 발전하길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the development direction of 3D printing fashion design for sustainable growth by analyzing cases using sustainable 3D printing technology in fashion field. The research method is based on the literature study, and the concept of sustainability and the design approach are examined. 3D printing fashion images were searched centering on portal site Naver and Google, image retrieval based on Pinterest, and mine web sites about 3D printing. I have reviewed the cases made since 2010 when 3D printing fashion begins. The sustainability of 3D printing technology leads to the reduction of waste by the additive manufacturing technique, and there is no surplus product due to small quantity production of various kinds of products, thus preserving the environment. Also, Savings in raw materials and production costs were reduced. In addition, 3D digital data sharing has enabled direct manufacturing in any regions and has affected producers and users equity. Sustainable 3D printing through cases of fashion design Fashion design is a digital naturalism type that expresses the formative, organic process, and creation algorithm of ecosystem, resource saving layer type that maintains strong strength by light weight, efficient unit connection type that expresses drape and fluidity by structurally supplementing printing output, multifunction modular type that induces items expansion and user participation, and a win-win technology fusion type that complements the deficiency of 3D printing. Based on this research, 3D printing fashion design is expected to develop in a sustainable direction.
