다문화사회의 떠돌이 민중에 대한 신학적 이해

국문 초록

한국 사회는 이미 다문화사회가 되었다. 이러한 급속한 다문화사회로의 이행은 이주민들의 인권, 이주민 자녀들의 교육, 자국민과의 갈등과 충돌 등 많은 사회적 문제들을 수반하고 있다. 물론 많은 교회들이 이주민들의 인권을 위해 노력하고 있지만 다문화사회에 대한 신학적 논의는 아직 타 분야에 비해 매우 빈약한 형편이다. 그러므로 필자는 이 논문에서 먼저 이주노동자, 국제결혼을 한 여성과 성매매 여성들을 게르와 관련해서 떠돌이 민중으로 정의하고 그들의 고통당하는 삶의 현실을 살펴 볼 것이다. 그리고 지금까지 논의된 다문화사회의 떠돌이 민중에 대한 이해를 비판적으로 검토한 후 민중신학적 관점에서 새롭게 서술할 것이다. 다시 말해서, 떠돌이 민중은 단순히 보호와 관심의 대상이 아니라 역사와 구원과 선교의 주체라는 사실을 논증할 것이다. 참으로 떠돌이 민중은 하나님의 형상으로 창조된 하나님의 자녀들로서 성령의 능력 안에서 자기초월성과 종말성을 가지고 억압과 착취와 차별이 없는 새로운 사회를 건설하는 역사의 주체이다. 그 새로운 사회는 그들의 꿈이다. 따라서 교회는 떠돌이 민중을 이주민과 나그네와 이방인이 아니라 하나님의 형상으로 창조된 하나님의 자녀라는 고백과 함께 하나님의 가족공동체의 한가족으로 받아들여야 하고, 그들의 생존을 위한 투쟁에 적극적으로 참여해야 하며, 떠돌이 민중과 공생할 수 있는 다문화교회와 다문화사회의 구체적 형태를 신학적으로 진지하게 논의해야 한다. 그것이 21세기 다문화사회에서 한국교회가 당면한 신학적 과제이다.

영문 초록

Korean Society has already become a multicultural society. This rapid transition to a multicultural society has accompanied with many social problems, such as immigrants’human rights, their children’s education and conflict between own citizens and immigrants and so on. Of course, many Korean churches are trying to increase the human rights of immigrants, but theological discussion about the multicultural society is still poor compared to other areas. Therefore, I will first define migrant worker, international marriage woman and women in prostitution as Wander-Minjung with respect to Ger(rwg), and research for their suffering life situation. And also after reviewing critically to understanding of Wander-Minjung that was discussed so far, newly describe Wander-Minjung in minjungtheological perspective. In other words, I will describe the fact that Wander-Minjung are not simply object to the protection and care but the subject of history and salvation and also the mission. Indeed, Wander-Minjung is the subject of history that builds a new society with Self-transcendence and eschatological consciousness in the power of the Holy Spirit as God’s children who were created in God's image. This society is their dream. Therefore, Korean church must confess Wander-Minjung not as an immigrant, alien and stranger but as a child of God who is created in God’s image, has to accept a members of God’s family community and take a part actively in their struggle for survival, also it should be discussed seriously theologically to the specific shape of a multicultural society and multicultural church which can co-exist with Wander-Minjung. It is an urgent problem of Korean Church in this multicultural society at the 21st century.
