국문 초록

‘역설과 역동’이라는 주제를 통해 필자가 이 논문에서 추구하는 것은 혼돈에 빠진 가족과 그들을 돕는 상담자들을 위한 목회신학적 전망을 제시하는 것이다. 필자는 오늘날 가족이 처한 혼돈의 상황 이면에는 다양한 국면의‘역설’이 존재한다고 주장한다. 이 역설은 더욱 깊은 혼돈으로 우리를 밀어 넣을 수도 있고, 반대로 역동적인 삶의 기초가 되기도 한다. 필자는 우리의 삶 속에 역동을 불러일으키는 역설의 현실을 보웬의 가족체계적인 관점과 위니캇의 정신분석적 관점을 통해 제시한다. 나아가서 필자는 개인과 가족의 삶의 역설과 역동을 실천신학자들의 주장하는 비판적 가족주의와 알리스테어 맥페디언의 신학적 인간학에서 찾는다. 이러한 다양한 관점을 통해 보여주고자 하는 목회신학적 전망은 우리의 삶을 혼돈스럽게 하는 역설은 우리가 피할 수 없는 삶의 현실이며, 그 역설적 현실을 회피하는 것이 아니라 가족체계 내에서 담아낼 수 있도록 도와주는 것이 상담자의 역할이라는 것이다. 이 논문이 혼돈시대의 가족을 돕는 쉽지 않은 사역을 하는 가족상담자들이 자신과 내담자들이 처한 혼돈을 좀 더 잘 견딜 수 있는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

영문 초록

By “paradox and dynamics”, I pursue a pastoral theological vision that can help the family and counselors struggling in the chaotic situation of contemporary Korean society. I think that there exist various aspects of paradoxes behind the chaotic situation. These paradoxes may lead our lives into either intolerable chaos or creative dynamics. These two different ways of life depend on how we are dealing with the paradoxical realities of our life. I show the way to entertain between paradox and dynamic by drawing on Murray Bowen and Donald Winnicott. Furthermore, I utilize a new practical theology of families suggested by Don Browning and his colleagues and theological anthropology of Alistair McFadyen in order to provide some possible ways of living out the paradox and dynamic of our life. By utilizing these various perspectives, I hope to argue that the paradoxical reality of our life is the unavoidable reality of human life, so that we have to accept and integrate it into our individual and familial life. Therefore, the role of family counselors is not to give a detour or easy solution to families in chaos but to help them to endure their situation until dynamics come out of the chaos.
