국문 초록

“하나님 고통”의 문제는 전통적으로 신론에서 다루어져왔다. 하나님은 역사적으로 전능하고 불변적 속성을 지닌 초월적인 존재로 이해되었다. 하나님의 속성에 대한 신학은 당시 시대를 주도하는 철학의 사조가 무엇인지에 따라 그 논의가 발전되어왔다. 마틴 루터와 위르겐 몰트만은 하나님 고통의 문제를 자신들의 역사적 상황에서 각기 상이한 십자가 신학으로 발전시켰다. 이 연구는 역사적으로 두 신학자의 십자가신학을 비교하고 있다. 16세기 종교개혁의 상황에서 로마가톨릭에 반대하면서 루터의 십자가신학은 발전되었다. 루터에게 십자가신학은 종교개혁을 위한 참된 신학으로 이 신학의 핵심은 인간의 공로사상에 반대해 하나님의 은혜를 강조했던 이신칭의론이다. 몰트만은 20세기 상황에서 자신의 십자가신학을 발전시켰다. 그는 루터에게서 십자가신학의 개념을 계승했지만 상당부분을 수정 발전시켰다. 그는 당시 2차세계대전과 같은 여러 비참한 상황을 체험하면서 전통적 신론을 일신론적 단일군주론이라고 비판하였다. 전통적 입장과 달리 하나님은 인간의 고통에 직접 참여하시는 분이다. 몰트만은 이를 설명하고자 “페리코레시스”라는 개념을 도입하여 삼위일체간 인격적 긴밀성을 주장하였다. 하지만 이 부분은 그의 신론이 만유재신론이라 비판받는 부분이기도 하다. 이 연구는 십자가신학에서 다루어진 하나님 고통에 대한 해석의 역사적 발전의 모습을 보여준다. 이 연구를 통해 우리는 하나님고통의 문제는 이를 해석하는 주체인 인간이 처한 역사적 상황에 의존하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The issue, “Suffering of God” have been dealt in doctrine of God.. God has been historically understood as a transcendent being who is omnipotent and immutable. Christian view of the divine attributes reflected the prevailing philosophies of the day. It was Martin Luther and Jürgen Moltmann who developed the issue, “suffering of God” to the Theology of Cross in their historical contexts. This study historically compares between both Luther and Moltmann’s theology of Cross. In 16th Century Reformation, Luther developed the Theology of Cross against Roman Catholicism. He described Roman Catholic’s scholastic theology as theology of glory. For him, the theology of Cross is a true theology for Reformation. The core of the theology of Cross is doctrine of justification that emphasizes divine grace for salvation. Moltmann developed his theology of Cross in 20th Century. He succeeded from Luther, but revised it. He experienced various miserable situations like Second World War. He denied traditional view of divinity and regarded it as monarchianism. For him, God takes part in humane suffering. Moltmann accepted the concept, “perichoresis”to describe the close relationship between divine persons in Trinity. In this process, however, Moltmann’s doctrine of God seems to be connected to Panentheism. This study shows historical development of the interpretation on divine suffering in the theology of Cross. We realize that the issue, “Suffering of God” depends on historical context into that humans are placed.
