수직 실린더 내부에서의 연기 확산에 대한 실험적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초고층빌딩의 수직 관통로를 통해 화재 연기가 확산되는 현상에 대해 관심을 갖고 연구하였다. 이러한 현상을 관찰하기 위해 수직으로 세워진 실린더로 제한된 발열원를 준비하고, 여기에서 발생한 플룸이 자연 부력으로 수직 확산하는 현상을 실험적으로 관찰하였고 그에 따른 실린더 벽면의 영향도 관찰하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 이론식 및 수치해석의 결과와 비교하고 분석하였다. 실험결과, 실린더에 의해 제한된 플룸이 발열원에서 발생된 초기에는 개방된 플룸과 유사하게 puffing을 하면서 상부로 확산하는 경향을 보이지만, 상부로 상승 이동하면서 파이프유동(pipe flow)로 발전하는 것을 관찰하였다. 그리고 이때 실린더 벽면의 영향으로 실린더의 단면적이 작아질수록, 발열원의 발열량이 커질수록 풀룸의 수직상승 확산속도가 빠르게 진행되는 경향을 보였다.

영문 초록

This experimental study was conducted to investigate the spread of fire smoke through the vertical penetration passage of a skyscraper. Vertical cylinders were used to observe the smoke diffusion phenomenon in the vertical direction, and the conditions of the limited heat source were constructed. Experimental measurements of the vertical diffusion of the plume generated from the pyrolysis source with natural buoyancy was carried out, and the effect of the cylinder wall was observed. The results were compared with the results of the theoretical equations and numerical analysis and analyzed. It was observed that the plume limited by the vertical cylinder tends to diffuse to the periphery while puffing, similar to the open plume at the initial stage generated in the heat source. However, it was observed that the pipe flow developed while moving upward. In addition, as the cross-sectional area decreased owing to the wall surface of the cylinder, and as the calorific value of the heat source increased, the pipe flow developed rapidly.
