지역주민 대상 재난교육의 효과에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역주민을 대상으로 한 재난교육 연구의 내용 및 효과를 파악하기 위함이다. 인터넷 기반 전자 데이터베이스 RISS와 PubMed를 통해 재난과 교육 관련 용어를 검색하여 국문 또는 영문으로만 출판된 관련 논문을 수집하였다. 총 2,682편의 문헌 중에서 최종 8편이 선정되었다. 대상문헌에서 다루는 재난의 유형으로 지진이 4편으로 가장 많았으며, 대부분의 연구에서 재난단계 중 예방 및 완화기에 해당하는 부분을 다루고 있었다. 이러한 지역주민 대상 재난 교육은 재난 대비행동이나 가치관, 재난 관련 지식 등에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상 문헌 중 무작위 대조군 연구가 한편도 없었으므로 향후 국내외 지역주민을 대상으로 한 무작위 대조군 실험설계가 더 많이 시도되어 근거 제시가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 또한 대상 지역의 환경적 특성과 회복 및 복구 차원을 강조한 재난교육 연구도 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine articles related to disaster training for community residents by investigating the contents and effects of research. Electronic databases, including Medline through PubMed and RISS were searched. The search terms included disaster, calamity, catastrophe, earthquake, flood, tsunami, hurricane, fire, education, training, instruction, and learning. Only papers published in English and Korean were included. Eight studies were selected from the 2,682 references screened. The most commonly studied type of disaster was earthquake. Prevention/mitigation was the most often mentioned phase of disaster. It was found that disaster-training programs targeting community residents have significantly positive effects on disaster preparedness, values, and knowledge for the study population. As no randomized controlled trial (RCT) was identified, further research is needed to provide evidence on the potential positive effects of disaster training for community residents. More studies emphasizing environmental information and recovery/reconstruction during the phase of disaster are needed.
