농업디자인 관련 연구동향 및 시사점

국문 초록

최근 농업의 6차산업화를 화두로 한 농업디자인에 대한 연구의 양적 증가 현상이 주목된다. 본고는 농업디자인 관련 선행연구의 동향을 고찰함으로써 진정으로 농업인들에게 도움이 되는 농업디자인의 방향과 역할을 모색했다. 연구는 이론연구와 선행연구 분석을 병행했고, 분석 자료는 최근 10년 사이에 보고된 연구 중 농산품 부문 국내학술지논문 30편을 대상으로 했다. 선행연구는 포장디자인 개발방안(전략) 연구, 포장디자인 개선사례 연구, 포장디자인 교육관련 연구 등 3가지 영역으로 대별되지만, 대부분 포장디자인을 대상으로 하고 있어 연구주제의 편중현상이 뚜렷하다. 따라서 농업디자인에 대한 근본적 토대를 만들기 위해서는 탐구영역의 다양화가 필요하다. 또한 연구내용을 보면, 표시사항, 법령, 디자인가이드 등 범용적 기준을 다루는 경향이 많다. 이제는 이러한 범용적 기준을 토대로 개별 농장이나 농가단위에 적용할 수 있도록 연구대상의 개별화, 심층화가 필요하다. 그리고 농업인의 디자인 이해 및 의식전환을 위한 교육도 필요하지만 농산품의 고부가가치화를 위해서는 전문가 그룹과의 지속적인 협업이 중요하다. 그런 차원에서 디자인 전문집단의 구성이 필요한 시점이라고 사료된다. 결론적으로 포장디자인이라는 당면 과제를 해결하는 것도 중요하지만, 6차산업 활성화를 통한 복지농촌 실현이라는 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 농업의 근본이라고 할 수 있는 농자(農者)와 농산품, 농업 현장에 대한 충분한 이해를 기반으로 의무감이나 책임감에서 ‘해야 하는 것’이 아니라 농업인 스스로 ‘하고 싶도록’, 그래서 자긍심과 뿌듯함을 느낄 수 있도록 내적 동기를 강화시키는 솔루션(예를 들면, 농장이미지통합계획)으로 농업디자인의 역할이 심화되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The phenomenon of quantitative increase of study on agricultural design based on 6th industrialization of agriculture is recently noted. This dissertation searched the direction & role of agricultural design which is really helpful for agriculturists by investigating the tendency of preceding study related to agricultural design. The study analyzed theoretic study & preceding study in parallel and the analytic data took 30 dissertations in domestic journals in sector of agricultural product out of preceding study for 10 recent years. Although preceding study is largely divided into 3 areas such as study on the method to develop package design(strategy), study on the case of improving package design, study related to education on package design, etc., most focus on package design, showing definite phenomenon of concentration on study theme. Thus, the area of quest needs to be divided in order to make general base on agricultural design. Further, when it comes to study contents, universal standard tends to be intensively handled such as indicated matter, law, design guide, etc. After all, study contents need to be deepened so that they may be applied to individual plantation or farmhouse based on such universal standard. While education for agriculturist to understand design and to convert sense is significant, cooperation with expert group is also important for high added value of agricultural product. In such meaning, it is necessary to establish expert design group. In conclusion, although it is important to solve the current task, package design, we think that the role of design should be intensified as solution(for example. Farm Identity Program) which enhances internal motive so that agriculturists are self-motivated with pride & satisfaction instead of sense of obligation or responsibility based on the comprehension of farmers, agricultural product & agricultural site, which can be said to the fundamental of agriculture in order to attain the goal, namely, realization of welfare agricultural town through activation of the 6th industry.
