켈러의 ARCS 동기이론을 적용한 패션디자인 교육 프로그램 연구

국문 초록

4차 산업혁명 시대가 도래함에 따라 정부는 ‘산업현장 실무, 직업교육ㆍ훈련과 자격 내용의 불일치 해소’와 ‘산업계 중심의 직업교육ㆍ훈련 제도 구축’을 목표로 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards: NCS)을 새롭게 개발하였다. 특성화고등학교에서는 학생들의 현장역량강화를 위해 NCS 교육과정을 적극 도입하고 있지만 NCS 교육과정을 시행하였던 학교의 연구보고서 의하면 패션디자인과는 타 학과에 비해 고졸 취업률이 낮고 학습 범위가 다소 넓으며, 교사들의 NCS 교육과정에 대한 이해 부족으로 학습 분위기 조성에 대한 어려움이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 동기설계를 위한 설문조사를 통해 학생들의 관심사항을 파악하고 보다 더 효율적인 수업 방안으로 NCS 패션디자인 교육에 켈러의 ARCS 동기이론을 적용해 학습자들의 강한 동기가 유발될 수 있도록 새로운 교육 프로그램을 모색하였으며 이를 바탕으로 수업한 결과 수업참여도와 학업의 성취 부분에서 매우 긍정적으로 향상된 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the government has developed National Competency Standards (NCS) in order to eradicate the inconsistency between the description and training of Industrial Practice/job training and to establish a system for industry-oriented job training. Although Specialization High School actively introduced NCS curriculum to strengthen students’ field skills, According to a study by the school that implemented the NCS curriculum, The Department of Fashion Design has a low employment rate for high school graduates than other departments, wider learning range, and teachers lack understanding of NCS curriculum making it difficult to create an atmosphere of learning. A survey was conducted to identify students’ interests in class motivation design and then, for the more effective class, Keller’s ARCS motive theory was applied to the fashion design education of NCS curriculum, and a new educational program which can induce the motivation of learners was sought. Based on this, the results of the lessons showed a very positive improvement in the students’ participation in the class and academic achievement.
