한·중 FTA 시대의 한·중 해운물류 성장전략에 관한 실증연구 : 한·중 카페리 선사를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 한·중 카페리 산업의 역할이 부각되기 시작하는 한·중 FTA 시대를 맞이하여 해운물류산업의 성장 발전을 위한 전략 우선순위를 도출하여 경쟁력 구축 및 관련 산업의 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 선행연구 검토 및 한·중 카페리 산업 임원진 및 전문가들과의 토론을 통해 해운산업 성장을 위한 핵심요소와 대안을 도출하고 이들 간 상대적 중요성을 분석하여 구조화된 계층구조를 설계하였다. 본 연구는 해운물류 성장을 위해 필요한 전략이 무엇인지 알기 위하여 대안 간 우선순위를 비교할 수 있는 계층분석 법(Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP)을 활용하였다. 분석결과 한·중 해운물류 성장전략의 중요도 순위는 전자상거래 물동량 확보, 정책 및 금융지원, 선박운항의 안정성, 운임수익 다변화, 정부 인식변화와 같은 전략을 우선적으로 고려해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 금융선주가 출현하여 금융이 해운발전을 이끄는 정책과 기존 관성의 틀에서 벗어난 오픈이노베이션 (open innovation) 환경의 산업 생태계를 펼쳐 침체된 해운물류 산업을 활성화 시켜야 한다. 카페리의 다양화·고급화를 추구하며 선박의 하드웨어를 대폭 보강하여 좋은 선박이 강력한 플랫폼이 될 수 있다는 선제적(proactive) 혁신도 필요하다. 또한 지금의 시장과 비즈니스 모델은 도태되고 진부화될 수 있기 때문에 현재의 저주(Curse of Incumbency)를 벗어난 보다 과감한 도전을 통하여 중국 항로에 한정되지 말고 향후 일본, 러시아까지 새롭고 변화된 운송서비스를 검토할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose : In this paper, the role of the Korean and Chinese car ferry industry is highlighted in the Korea-China FTA period, and the key factors and methods for growth and development are analyzed and the relative importance of these alternatives is analyzed. Research design, data, methodology : We have reviewed the previous researches and interviewed and discussed with Korean and Chinese specialists and staffs. The questionnaires were given to the practitioners, executives, and experts engaged in the current car ferry shipping industry, which was the subject of this, and AHP technique was used. Results : Strategies such as e-commerce logistics, policy and financial support, stability of shipping, diversification of freight revenue, changes in government awareness, and comprehensive institutional improvement should be considered for the growth of shipping logistics industry. Conclusions : As China is Korea s largest online exporter, its importance will be further increased by the FTA, and retail trade is also expanding, so to secure e-commerce maritime trade volume is very significant. In addition, the maritime logistics industry should be further activated through the government s policy and financial support to enhance the growth of the Korean and Chinese car ferry industry and the stability of the ship.
