국문 초록

오늘날 전자 상거래 시장의 확장으로 인하여 새로운 형태의 온라인 사기수법이 난무한다. 인터넷 상거래의 공정성과 안정성을 확보하고, 소비자의 신뢰를 회복할 수 있도록 전자 상거래에 있어서 소비자피해의 실태를 분석하고, 전자상거래 소비자보호법을 중심으로 거래 단계별 사업자의 준수 의무사항의 제도적, 법률적 문제점을 파악하고 비교법학의 관점에서 외국의 사례를 참고하여 우리나라의 인터넷 상거래의 소비자 보호방안을 모색하고자 한다.

영문 초록

E-commerce can be traced back to the 1960s when international carriers standardized electronic documents for the purpose of delivering transport documents quickly. Today, expanding e-commerce market is creating a new form of online fraud. The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce was enacted in March 2002 to protect consumer rights from various consumer damages. As contrary to legislative intent, there are criticisms of consumer protection that e-commerce related systems and law needs to be improved and refined. While e-commerce offers a lot of convenience not only for business but also for consumers, consumer damage is also increasing rapidly due to characteristics such as untact marketing and anonymity. In this paper the consumer damage status in electronic commerce is analyzed Also, system and legal issues related to e-commerce consumer protection are identified. To ensure the fairness and stability of Internet commerce and restore consumer confidence, this paper seeks to find ways to protect consumers from Internet transactions.
