구성주의 협력학습 모형의 개발

국문 초록

구성주의 학습은 긍정적 사회적 상호작용 즉 협력학습을 강조한다. 그 동안 이루어진 협력학습의 경쟁학습 및 개별화 학습에 대한 상대적 효과를 검증한 연구들은 지적학습 영역에서 협력학습의 가치를 확인하는 결과를 제시한 경우가 많다. 그러나 협력학습의 효과에 대하여 회의적인 결과를 제시한 연구들도 적지 않다. 회의적인 결과는 여러 요인에 의한 것으로 분석될 수 있을 것이나 그 가운데 한 요인으로 협력집단의 학습과정이 효과적으로 진행되지 않았을 가능성을 들 수도 있다. 의미나 지식의 구성과정은 학습자의 기존 인지구조에 대해 혼란을 일으키고 그것을 극복하기 위해 다양한 새로운 아이디어들을 창출해내는 쉽지 않은 노력의 과정이다. 따라서 의미나 지식의 구성을 위한 협력학습에서 이러한 과정이 효과적으로 진행될 수 있도록 각별히 유의해야 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서 구성주의 학습의 과정 즉 개념적 변화, 상위인지, 개념적 정착 등을 고찰하여 이 과정에 기반을 둔 협력학습 모형을 개발하였다. 이 모형은 준비단계, 협력기술 학습단계, 개념적 변화와 상위인지 단계, 개념적 정착 단계, 검토단계 등에 따른 협력학습활동들로 구성되어 있다.

영문 초록

Cooperative learning activities are emphasized in the perspective of constructivist learning. Many studies have found the relative merit of cooperative learning relative to competitive learning and individualized learning in the cognitive learning. But there are not a few studies that found the skeptical result of cooperative learning. This skeptical result can be analyzed in terms of the ineffective dynamics of cooperative learning group among various factors. The constructive processes of meaning or knowledge are the processes of hard effort that those processes elicit the confusion of students’ existing cognitive structure and create the various ideas to overcome such a confusion. Therefore, it must be attended specially on those processes in order to facilitate constructivist cooperative learning. According to this necessity, this researcher analyzed the constructivist learning process, that is, conceptual changeㆍmetacognitionㆍconceptual anchorage and developed the constructivist cooperative learning model based on this process in this study. This model is consisted of the various cooperative learning activities of stages such as preparationㆍlearning of cooperative skillsㆍconceptual change and metacognitionㆍconceptual anchorageㆍreview.
