국문 초록

본 연구는 개인변인, 가족변인, 학교변인이 초등학생의 휴대전화 중독에 미치는 설명력을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 서울에 소재한 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생 중 휴대전화를 소유하고 있는 341명을 대상으로 표집 하였다. 이 중 분석에 적 절치 못한 27명의 자료를 모두 제외하고 총 314명을 연구대상으로 SPSS 16.0 통계 프로그램에 의해 Pearson 상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구 대상자의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인, 가족, 학교변인이 초등학생의 휴대전화 중독 수준간 관계를 살펴보 면, 자기통제력, 가족건강성, 학교적응은 정적상관을 보이며, 즉각적인 만족은 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인, 가족, 학교변인의 하위변인들을 예측변인 으로 하고 휴대전화 중독 하위변인들을 준거변인으로 중다회귀분석한 결과 유의미 한 예측변인인 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 초등학생들의 휴대전화 중독 수준이 높을수록 가족간 의사소통, 학교생활적응, 학교친구적응이 설명력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 초등학생의 휴대전화 중독을 예방하기 위한 다양한 개입전 략의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study is designed to make an analysis of the relationship between elementary school students cellular phone addiction and their personal, family and adjustment to school life. The subjects were originally composed of a total of 341 cell-phone owned 5th and 6th graders of elementary schools located in Seoul. With the exception of the 27 students whose materials were deemed inappropriate for this analysis, the researcher worked with a total of 314 subjects. The gathered data went through Pearson s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis on the basis of SPSS 16.0 strategic programs. The followings are the findings linked with the subjects. First, we analyzed correlation relation of personal, family, school variables and cellular phone addiction. self-control, family strengths, school adjustment with cellular phone addiction are negative correlation, instant gratification with cellular phone addiction. Second, a multiple regression analysis with the subordinate variables of self-control, family strengths, school adjustment and cellular phone addiction as predictable variables and those of the levels of addition to cell phones as standard variables show that the predictable variables are significant. In other words, more levels of the subjects addiction to cell phones turn out to have more influences on family communication, school-life adjustment. and school-friend adjustment. Based on the findings of this study, developing intervention strategies focusing on personal, family, school adjustment to reduce the cellular phone addiction is suggested.
