영아교사의 식생활 습관 및 영양지식이 영아 급식지도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 영아교사의 식생활 습관과 영양지식 및 급식지도에 대한 일반 적인 경향과 교사 배경변인에 따른 차이를 알아보고, 영아교사의 식생활 습관 및 영 양지식이 영아 급식지도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 부 산?경남지역 어린이집 만 1, 2세 영아교사 357명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였 다. 연구결과는 첫째, 영아교사의 식생활 습관은 보통 수준으로 나타났고, 교사의 배 경변인 중 연령과 영양교육이수경험, 자녀양육경험에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 영아교사의 영양지식은 보통 수준으로 나타났으며 근무기관 유형에 따라 유의한 차 이가 있었다. 영아교사의 급식지도는 비교적 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 근무기관의 유형과 영양교육이수경험, 자녀양육경험에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 영아 교사의 식생활 습관과 영양지식 및 급식지도 간에 매우 높은 정적 상관이 있는 것으 로 나타났으며, 영아교사의 식생활 습관과 영양지식이 영아의 급식지도에 유의한 영 향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 바람직한 영아 급식지도를 위해 영아 교사의 바른 식생활 습관과 영양지식 향상을 위한 교사교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objective of this study is to examine infant teachers general tendencies and differences according to the teacher background variables by examining their eating habits, nutrition knowledge and meal guidance and to identify the effects of their eating habits and nutrition knowledge on meal guidance for infants. For this, surveys were executed targeting 357 infant teachers for 1～2 years old infants at childcare centers in Busan and Gyeongnam area. Study results showed moderate level dietary habit in infant teachers and significant differences according to age, nutrition education completion experiences and child nurturing experiences among the background variables of the teacher. Results showed moderate level of nutrition knowledge and significant differences according to working facility type among the background variables of the teacher and showed relatively high meal guidance and significant differences according to nutrition education completion experiences and child nurturing experiences among the background variables of the teacher. Second, very high positive correlation between infant teachers eating habits, nutrition knowledge and meal guidance, and their eating habits and nutrition knowledge were identified to significantly affect infant meal guidance. These results imply that the improve infant teacher s eating habits and nutrition knowledge should be provided from the viewpoints of teacher education because infant teacher s eating habits and nutrition knowledge greatly affect desirable meal guidance for infant.
