일반대학 이러닝에서 ‘컴퓨터 태도 도구’의 개발과 타당화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 일반대학 이러닝 학습환경에서 학습자의 컴퓨터 태도를 측정하는 ‘컴퓨터 태도 도구’를 개발하고자 국내·외 문헌의 연구와 측정 도구의 문항 검토를 토대로 우리나라 실정에 맞게 수정·개발하고, 일반대학에서 이러닝 수강경험이 있는 남·여 대학생 217명을 대상으로 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 문항 분석과 요인분석을 통해 27개 문항, 4개 요인(컴퓨터자신감, 컴퓨터유용성, 컴퓨터선호, 컴퓨터불안)을 추출하였고, 전체 분산의 57%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 도구의 신뢰도 Cronbach α는 .922로, Stratified α는 .937로 분석되어 대체로 우수한 것으로 평가되었다(하위척도별 Cronbach α = .744∼.900). 탐색적 요인분석에 의해 구인타당도를 검증한 후, 4개의 요인구조가 안정적으로 유지됨을 확인하기 위해 구조방정식을 이용한 확인적 요인분석을 수행한 결과, 도구의 전체 모형과 개별 모형의 적합도 지수는 대체적으로 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 컴퓨터 태도 도구는 신뢰도와 타당도 측면에서 양호한 도구임이 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 이러닝 학습자의 주요 심리적 특성 중 하나인 컴퓨터 태도를 이해하는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. 후속 연구에서는 컴퓨터 태도와 이러닝 학습효과 간의 관련성을 알아보고, 학습효과를 증진시키기 위한 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develope the Computer Attitude Scale geared to assessing the attitude of learners toward computers in University e-learning setting. Relevant literature was reviewed, and the scale was developed by modifying domestic and international scales. The subjects in this study were 216 male and female University students who had ever taken e-learning courses. The reliability and validity of the scale developed in this study were checked. An item analysis and factor analysis were conducted to select 27 items and four factors involving computer confidence, computer usefulness, computer preference and computer anxiety, which turned out to make 57% prediction of total variances. As for reliability, Cronbach alpha and Stratified alpha coefficients of the scale are respectively .922 and .937, which implied that the scale is reliable on the whole. Cronbach alpha coefficients of the subscales range from .744 to .900. After the exploratory factor analysis for the verification of the construct validity, confirmatory factor analysis was executed by utilizing a structural equation to confirm whether the four factors worked well, and the goodness of fit index of the overall and individual models are appropriate in general. Therefore we confirmed that the Computer Attitude Scale developed in this study is reliable and valid on the whole. We expect this study can be a fundamental materials to understand the attitudes of learners toward computers in e-learning system, one of learner s psychological characteristics. Our future research efforts will be channelled into finding out the relationship between attitudes of learners toward computers and e-learning effects and developing programs for boosting e-learning effects.
