국문 초록

이 연구는 2007년 개정 교육과정에 관한 초등학교 교사들의 관심 수준을 분석하고, 이에 따른 교사들의 관심 제고 방안을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 교사 216명을 대상으로 Hord 외 3인이 개발한 CBAM 모형에 따라 설문 조사하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면, 대부분의 교사들은 2007년 개정 교육과정에 관한 관심 수준이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 교사들의 경력이나 학교 소재지 및 성별에 따라서도 별다른 차이를 보이지 않고 있다. 이처럼 교육과정에 관한 초등학교 교사들의 관심이 낮은 이면에는 교사들의 잘못된 교육과정 인식이나 태도를 비롯하여 중앙 집권적인 교육과정 개발체제 및 형식적인 교육과정 연수 등이 작용하고 있다. 따라서 교사들의 올바른 교육과정 인식을 위한 노력이 시급하며, 교육과정 개발과 운영에 교사들이 적극 참여하는 체제와 실질적인 교육과정 연수 시스템이 필요하다

영문 초록

It is known that teachers effective curriculum implementation is depend on their concern levels about curriculum. With this premise, this article analyzes that elementary teachers concern levels on the 2007 revised curriculum and investigates the improvements of their levels of curriculum concern. Data was collected by survey which was based on the CBAM with 216 elementary teachers. The results of t-test and F-test are as follows. Most of the elementary teachers do not willing to interest in knowing the 2007 revised curriculum. Their curriculum concern level is too low. This trend does not difference with the teachers career, school region, and gender. It will be supposed that there are three main reasons which cause the teachers low concern. One is teachers misconceptions about curriculum, another is centripetal curriculum development system, and the other is not substantial in-service training on the new curriculum. Thus, it is certain that there are need to create teachers right conceptions about curriculum, school―based or teacher―centered curriculum development system, and substantial in―service training.
