국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학생의 정의적 측면을 측정해 낼 수 있는 컴퓨터불안 형용사 척도의 문항을 개발하기 위해 Jegede와 Kirkwood(1994)의 원격교육 불안수준 형용사 체크리스트(Affect Adjective Checklist on Distance Learning)를 국내의 실정에 맞게 타당화 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 3개 대학교의 남녀 대학생을 표집단 위로 하여 208명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 문항 분석을 통해 최종 문항을 결정하였으며 구인타당도 검증을 위해서는 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 통해 5개의 요인이 산출되었다. 이 과정을 통해 22개의 형용사가 선별되었다. 또한 내적 일관성 신뢰도(.681)도 양호하였다. 다음으로 준거타당도를 위해 Cohen 등(1989)의 컴퓨터불안 척도 간 상관을 알아본 결과, 컴퓨터불안 척도의 부정 정서 간의 상관은 .301로서 유의하였다. 이는 본 컴퓨터불안 형용사 척도의 부정 정서가 컴퓨터불안 척도의 부정 정서를 설명하고 있어 준거 관련한 타당도를 어느 정도 확보한 것으로 보겠다. 따라서 본 연구는 e-러닝 학습자에 대한 컴퓨터불안 연구가 거의 없는 실정에서 e-러닝 학습자의 기저가 되는 정서를 측정할 수 있는 컴퓨터불안 형용사 척도를 타당화 하였다는데 그 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of Jegede & Kirkwood\ s(1994) scale, Affect Adjective Checklist on Distance Learning in Korea. For the purpose of this research, their scale was administered to and data for analysis were collected from 208 undergraduate students enrolled three different universities in Seoul, Korea. The results presented in this study were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis by the S P S S ver14.0 software program in windows. The results of analysis for examining the construct validity confirmed 5 subscales-- 2 positive affects, 3 negative affects, 22 items. Internal consistency reliability of scale was also satisfactory(Cronbach α = .681). And then to examine the criterion related validity of the scale, correlation coefficient between this scale and Cohen et al.\ s(1989) computer anxiety scale were computed. Of those, the correlation between negative affects of the scale and those of Cohen et al. was significant(with coefficient of correlation .301 at significance level .01). Therefore, this study ascertained an evidence that Affect Adjective Checklist on Distance Learning can be used as a valid instrument for measuring students\ computer anxiety on e-learning in university.
