재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정 개정의 특징과 향후 과제

국문 초록

이 글의 목적은 2007년 2월 28일에 개정 고시된 재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정의 주요 특징을 검토함으로써 향후 재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정 편성․운영의 발전적 방향을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 교육과정 개정의 기초 탐색으로서 재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정 개정시 고려되어야할 주요 쟁점 혹은 문제점을 설정하였다. 둘째, 2007년 개정 재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정의 주요 특징을 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 2007년 개정 재량활동과 특별활동 교육과정이 보다 생산적이고 향후 실효성있게 편성․운영되기 위해 논의 되어야 할 몇 가지 과제 들을 제안하였다. 향후, 2007년 개정 교육과정의 효율적 적용을 위한 후속 지원의 강구, 수시 개정의 성격과 범위의 정교화, 재량활동과 특별활동의 통합적 운영에 관한 지침의 필요성, 범교과 학습으로 국가․사회적 요구를 수용하는 범위와 방식의 제고, 재량활동 교육과정 문서 체제 및 형식의 변화, 특별활동 5개영역 조정 가능성 모색 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to inquiry improvement guidelines for the organization and implementation of optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum based on chief characteristic of newly revised optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum. To achieve this aim, First, this study set up issues or problems related optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum revision. Second, it examine the chief feature of newly revised optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum. Third, it proposed the hereafter tasks or policy implication for effective improvement of organization and implementation of optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum in national level. In conclusion, this study suggested some alternative as following matters to improve optional activities-extracurricular activities curriculum\ s organization and implementation. It is necessary to contrive following support system to implement effectively revised curriculum, to elaborate the character and scope of anytime curriculum revision style, to prepare integrative implementation guidelines between optional activities and extracurricular activities, to uplift the scope and method of national-social needs reception as cross-curricular, to alter the system and form of optional activities curriculum document, and to grope regulation possibility of five domains of extracurricular activities.
