영문 초록

The public design project of Namgu is targeting to enhance its negative image which is being recognized as a pollution city and a city of disorder, and make it into a green city with consideration towards people of composed and abundant life. This research, through the Wangsaeng-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan Metropolitan City environment image evaluation, is to propose a specific design compass by investing the desired future image to be realized by pedestrians through the public design development project respective to the street environment which is a part of the Ulsan Metropolitan City Ulsan Culture Art Center, a target area for the Off street art of breath. The research method is to modelize with an emotional format for design improvement extracting by a survey the desired image to be realized through the public design development project. As next, is to derive a specific design concept to the each of the zones, by analyzing the correlations between the extracted emotional elements and the physical elements of the street environment. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to enhancethe negative image of Namgu, and proposed a specific design compass of the public design development project to play the role as a green city with considerations towards people of composed and abundant life.
