교과연계형 인성교육중심 수업 프로그램 개발과 적용 효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 교과연계형 인성교육중심 수업이 초등학생의 인성발달에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 초등학교 3학년 2학기 과학교과의 차시별 내용을 중심으로 연구진과 수업을 담당하는 담임교사가 협동으로 교과연계형 인성중심수업을 설계·개발하였고 담임교사가 수업을 진행하였다. 연구대상은 대구광역시 소재 Y초등학교 3학년 학생 197명(실험집단 113명, 통제집단 84명)이었다. 사전·사후 인성검사는 생명존중, 소통, 협동의 인성덕목을 측정하는 30문항으로 구성되었으며, 실험설계로 사전·사후검사 통제집단을 사용하였으며, 자료는 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 한 학기의 과학교과 전체 내용을 중심으로 교과연계형 인성교육중심 수업을 위한 교수·학습지도안을 개발하였다. 둘째, 교과연계형 인성교육중심 수업에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단의 사전점수를 공변인으로 설정하고 사후점수의 차이를 분석한 결과, 생명존중, 소통, 협동, 전체 점수에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 결론적으로 초등학교 3학년 과학교과와 연계한 인성교육중심 수업은 학생들의 생명존중, 소통, 협동의 인성덕목 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 교과연계형 인성교육중심 수업의 활성화를 위한 후속연구에 대한 제언이 인성교육중심 수업유형 개발, 초·중등교육의 다양한 교과에서 인성교육중심 수업의 실천과 효과분석, 교과연계 인성교육중심 수업 효과분석을 위한 측정도구 개발 등의 영역에서 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the subject-linked character education on developing the character virtues of elementary school students. The subject-linked character program for science class was developed by the researchers who participated in the study and the teachers who were in charge of the class. The subjects of this study were 197 students (113 for the experimental group, 84 for the control group) in Y elementary school in Daegu Metropolitan City. The pre- and post tests consisted of 30 items measuring the virtues of respect for life, communication, and cooperation. An experimental design with pre- and post test control group was used and the data was analyzed by the covariance analysis (ANCOVA) technique. The results of the study are as follows: Firstly, we developed a teaching and learning plan for subject-linked character education focused on the whole contents of science class for one semester. Secondly, there was a significant difference in life respect, communication, cooperation, and the overall score of character virtues. In conclusion, there were positive effects of the subject-linked character education program on developing the virtues of life respect, communication, and cooperation of elementary school students. The necessity of follow-up research for the development of various types of subject-linked character education and the analysis of their effects, and for the development of measurement tools for analyzing the effects of subject-linked character education were suggested.
