국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 학업지연행동과 충동성, 학습전략, 전공만족도의 구조적 관계를 검증하고, 학업지연행동과 충동성, 전공만족도의 관계에서 학습전략의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산지역 3개 대학교 재학생 450명이었으나, 최종적으로 407명의 자료가 분석되었다. 연구결과, 대학생의 학업지연행동, 충동성, 학습전략, 전공만족도의 연구모형이 경쟁모형에 비해 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 연구모형에 나타난 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 충동성은 전공만족도에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 학습전략을 매개하여 전공만족도에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학업지연행동은 전공만족도에 직접적인 영향은 미치지 않지만, 학습전략을 매개하여 전공만족도에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 학습전략은 전공만족도에 직접적 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구를 통해 대학생들이 효과적인 학습전략을 사용함으로써 학업지연행동과 충동성 수준을 줄여 전공만족도에 긍정적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 기반으로 논의하였고 교육에 주는 시사점과 제한점, 추후 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the structural relationships among academic procrastination, impulsiveness, learning strategies, and major satisfaction of college students. This study also examined whether learning strategies play significant roles in the mediation of the academic procrastination and impulsiveness, on major satisfaction. A total data of 407 participants from 3 universities in Busan were used in this study. Results from structural equation modeling analysis indicated that a hypothesized model produced a better fit to the data than a comparative structural model. The hypothesized model shows the following results: First, impulsiveness had an impact on major satisfaction not only directly but also just through learning strategies. Second, academic procrastination had an impact on major satisfaction only indirectly through learning strategies. Third, learning strategies had an impact on major satisfaction directly. These results suggested that to use effective learning strategies had a positive effect on major satisfaction with reducing the negative effect of academic procrastination and impulsiveness. Limitations of this study and implications for future studies were discussed.
