국문 초록

본 연구는 강점기반 진로집단 프로그램을 실시하여 저소득가정 중학생을 대상으로 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로성숙에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구대상은 부산광역시에 위치한 D중학교 2학년에 재학 중인 저소득가정 중학생을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 10명씩 배치하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강점기반 진로집단 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 참여하지 않은 통제집단보다 프로그램에 참여한 후 진로결정 자기효능감이 향상되었다. 둘째, 강점기반 진로집단 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 참여하지 않은 통제집단보다 프로그램에 참여한 후 진로성숙도가 향상되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 강점기반 진로집단 프로그램은 저소득가정 중학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로성숙을 향상시키는 데 효과적인 프로그램임을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of strengths-based career group program on career decision self-efficacy, and career maturity of middle school students from low-income families. In order to achieve this aim, 20 middle school students from low-income families in the D middle school, Busan, were selected as participants to take part in the program. Before starting the program, the content and process was properly explained to them so as to ask for their assent. The 20 participants were divided into 2 groups: 10 participants were assigned to the experimental group, and the other 10 were placed in the control group. The results of this study can be summed up as follows. First, the career decision self-efficacy for the experimental group, after the participating middle school students from low-income families was improved compared to the control group who did not participate in the program. Secondly, the career maturity for the experimental group after participating, had improved for the middle school students from low-income families when compared with the control group, who had not participated in the program. In conclusion, it was proved that this program is effective to improve the career decision self-efficacy and career maturity of middle school students from low-income families. Finally, based on the findings, limitations of the current study and the suggestions for a further research were presented.
