퇴직예정자의 은퇴기대와 노후 재무만족도 예측의 관계에서 퇴직준비 및 재무교육의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 퇴직예정자의 은퇴기대, 퇴직준비, 재무교육 및 노후 재무만족도 예측의 구조적 관계를 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구문제는 첫째, 퇴직예정자의 은퇴기대, 퇴직준비, 재무교육은 노후 재무만족도 예측에 어떠한 관계가 있는가? 둘째, 퇴직예정자의 퇴직준비와 재무교육은 은퇴기대와 노후 재무만족도 예측의 관계를 어떻게 매개하는가? 이다. 연구대상은 퇴직예정자 중 재무교육 참여경험이 있는 547명으로 하였다. 분석방법은 기술통계량, 상관관계, 왜도, 첨도 및 분산팽창계수(VIF)를 구하고, 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하며, 구조방정식 모형 분석과 매개효과 분석을 위한 경로계수를 산출하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 퇴직예 정자의 은퇴기대가 퇴직준비, 재무교육 및 노후 재무만족도 예측에 각각 유의한 영향을 미치고, 노후 재무만족도 예측에 미치는 영향의 크기는 퇴직준비, 은퇴기대, 재무교육의 순서로 나타났다. 둘째, 퇴직예정자의 퇴직준비 및 재무교육은 은퇴기대와 노후 재무만족도 예측의 관계를 매개하고, 퇴직준비가 재무교육 참여보다 더 크게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 퇴직예정자들이 노후 재무적 만족을 위하여 사전에 은퇴에 대한 기대와 예측에 따라 만반의 퇴직준비와 더불어 은퇴교육에 적극적으로 참여해야 할 필요성을 제기하며, 먼저 만반의 퇴직준비를 선행한 후 재무교육에 참여해야함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effects that retirement preparation and financial education might have on the retirement expectations and later life financial satisfaction of pre-retirees. In order to achieve this aim, the following problems were addressed: First, how do retirement expectations, retirement preparation, and financial education impact the later life financial satisfaction of pre-retirees? Second, what mediating effects do retirement preparation and financial education have on the relationship between retirement expectations and the later life financial satisfaction of pre-retirees? Based on the research findings, the following conclusions were made: First, there was a relationship among retirement expectations, retirement preparation, financial education, and later life financial satisfaction of pre-retirees. Second, there were mediating effects of the pre–retirees’retirement preparations and financial education on the relationship between retirement expectations and later life financial satisfaction. This study emphasizes the necessity of a multi-faceted retirement preparation and financial education experience for the later life satisfaction of pre-retirees.
