국문 초록

학습공동체 활동이 학습자의 다양한 핵심역량 함양에 효과적인 것으로 알려지면서 국내 대학에서는 학습공동체에 대한 지원을 확대하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 대학에서 학습공동체의 효과적인 운영 및 지원전략 모색에 기초자료를 제공하고자 학습공동체의 구성원이 지각한 팀 성취목표지향성, 사회적 태만, 팀상호작용을 학습공동체 활동에 주요 요인으로 선정하고 학습공동체 활동성과 변인과의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 수도권 소재 대학에서 학습공동체 활동에 참여한 356명의 대학생으로부터 이루어졌으며, 구조방정식모형분석으로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 팀의 성취목표지향성은 숙달목표, 수행접근 목표, 수행회피목표의 지각 수준에 따라 구성원이 학습공동체 학습활동 과정에서 보일 수 있는 사회적 태만과 팀 상호작용에 영향을 미쳤으며, 나아가 학습공동체 활동성과와도 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 교육 현장에서의 학습공동체 운영 및 지원 전략을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of team achievement goal orientation, social loafing, and team interaction on learning outcomes of learning communities for college students. Since learning communities are expanded in Korean colleges, it is necessary to examine the critical factors for the successful experience of learning communities. Team achievement goal orientation, social loafing and team interaction were chosen as predictors and the path model was proposed. Data were collected from 356 college students who participated in the learning communities, and structural equation modeling analysis was performed. As a result, team achievement goal orientation, social loafing, and team interaction were directly or indirectly related to determining the learning outcomes of learning communities. Particularly mastery goal was a strong predictor to reduce social loafing and to increase team interaction and perceived team learning. Performance approach goal increased social loafing and lessen team interaction, but it predicted positive team achievement. Performance avoidance goal increased social loafing and indirectly reduced team interaction. Social loafing negatively influenced on team interaction and team learning, and team interaction increased the perceived team learning. Based on the results, the practical implications which manage and support learning communities were discussed.
