국문 초록

도시·지역재생 분야에서 과거 방치되었던 산업유산은 최근 다양한 문화콘텐츠를 도입하여 가치가 재생산된 공간으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 산업유산 사례를 유형으로 구분하여 문화콘텐츠 활용적 측면에서 고찰하며 어떤 가치를 생산하는지 검토하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 문화콘텐츠 유형에 따라 복합문화공간, 예술창작공간, 테마 박물관으로 구분하고 사례마다 하드웨어·소프트웨어 콘텐츠를 들어 설명하였다. 그리고 이에 따라 지역에 생산되는 가치를 문화적·경제적·사회적 측면에서 조명하였다. 연구결과, 산업유산은 문화콘텐츠 유형에 따라 일반적으로 조성 방식과 생산되는 가치가 차별화되는 것으로 나타났으며 소프트웨어는 하드웨어 콘텐츠와 연관되면서도 유연하게 구성되어 있었다. 연구의 시사점은 첫째, 문화콘텐츠를 활용한 산업유산은 모두 문화적 가치를 지니며 소프트웨어 콘텐츠는 이를 보완한다. 둘째, 산업유산 활용 시 목적과 이용대상의 규모에 따라 구성되는 콘텐츠와 기대되는 가치가 다르게 나타나 목표에 따라 목적과 대상을 명확히 할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

In the urban / regional regeneration field, The industrial heritage that has been neglected in the past has recently become a space where values are reproduced by introducing various cultural contents. The purpose of this study is to consider what kind of value that industrial heritage which is reviewed in terms of utilization of cultural contents produces. About research methods, this study is divided into a complex cultural space, an art creation space, and a theme museum according to cultural contents types, and hardware and software contents are described for each case. In this way, the values p roduced in the region are explained in terms of cultural, economic and social aspects. As a result of research, industrial heritage is differentiated by the type of culture contents and produced value in general, and the software is flexible in relation to hardware contents. The implications of this research are as follows: First, industrial heritage using cultural contents has cultural value and software contents supplement it. Second, cultural contents are different according to purpose of industrial heritage utilization, population size, and expected values are different. Therefore, cultural contents should be clearly structured as needed.
