영문 초록

This study aimed at identifying the relation of travel behaviour and preferred factors of residential environment of the elderly. A survey was conducted with question items on them socio-economic status as well as travel behaviour and preferred factors of residential environment for the elderly in Gwangju metropolitan city. First, the validity and reliability of variables were examined. Subsequently, multiple regression analysis was employed as the research method. Analysis results demonstrate that correlation and regression relationship between travel behavior and preferred factors of residential environment of the elderly. The results showed that the higher frequency of travel, the elderly prefer to accessibility and physical environment factors. The fewer travel time a day, the elderly prefer to physical and social environment factors.
