초등학교 여교사의 의복스타일에 따른 옷차림 인식 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 여교사의 옷차림에 대해 학생과 교사가 갖는 인식차이를 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 여교사의 옷차림을 상의, 하의를 포함하는 전체적인 옷차림으로써 원피스형 정장, 투피스 바지형 정장, 투피스 스커트형 정장, 바지형 캐주얼, 스커트형 캐주얼 5가지 스타일로 선정하고 학생과 교사가 인식하는 품위성, 단정성, 활동성의 정도를 차이분석 하였다. 통계처리는 SPSSver.12를 이용하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생과 교사의 의복스타일에 따른 인식을 비교 분석한 결과 원피스정장 스타일에서 품위성․단정성(p<.001), 투피스바지정장 스타일에서 품위성․단정성(p<.05), 스커트정장 스타일에서 활동성(p<.01)의 인식의 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 성별에 따라 비교한 결과 학생의 경우 남녀 학생 간 통계적으로 유의한 인식차이가 없었으나 교사의 경우 투피스 바지형 정장에서 품위성․단정성(p<.001), 바지형 캐주얼에서 품위성․단정성(p<.001)의 인식차이를 나타내었다. 셋째, 교사 연령대별로 살펴 본 결과 남교사의 경우는 투피스 바지형 정장에서 단정성(p<.001), 투피스 스커트형 정장은 품 위성(p<.05), 단정성(p<.001), 활동성(p<.01)의 모든 항목에서 차이를 보였으나 여교사의 경우 연령에 따른 의복인식이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학생과 교사 간에 서로 이해의 폭을 넓히고 공감대를 형성하여 교사의 이미지를 향상시키는데 도움이 되고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study is expecting to clarify the clothing image about elementary school female teacher s garment and confirm the perception difference between students and teachers by comparing and analyzing the clothing image. Through this study, teachers and students are expected to understand each other better and have something in common with improved effect of education. The research data used survey was collected from students and teachers at elementary school in Kyungnam. The 325 copies were used in analysis. The statistic process of research data was analyzed by using SPSS program. The result of the study is as below. First, in the result of comparing and analyzing the perception of students and teachers about the garment of elementary school female teachers in modesty, status symbolism and practicality, both of them perceived that the teacher s clothing is modesty, status symbolism and practicality. Students scored significantly higher than teacher s perception in one piece-dress, trousers type suits and skirt type suits.(upper p<.05) Second, in the result of comparing and analyzing the data according to gender, both male and female teachers perceived significant about modesty, status symbolism in trousers type suits and trousers type casual suits.(p<.001) Third, in the perception with age, male teachers scored significantly perception about status symbolism in trousers type suits and about modesty, status symbolism and practicality in skirt type suits. (upper p<.05) But, female teachers showed no difference with age. Also, elementary school female teacher s clothing tends to have modesty, status symbolism and practicality. Especially, it s very positive that students have positive perception about teacher s clothing. On the other hand, the result that teachers themselves showed low preference is a subject needed consideration.
