2007 개정 교육과정에 근거한 초등 실과 교과서 ‘기술의 세계’ 영역의 실천 활동 내용 및 삽화 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 2007 개정 교육과정에 근거하여 민간 출판사가 개발하여 현재 적용되고 있는 초등 실과 교과서의 ‘기술의 세계’ 영역 내용 및 삽화에서 오류나 미흡한 부분이 있는지 분석하고 이를 수정 또는 보완하여 제시하는 것이다. 분석 대상 단원은 ‘기술의 세계’ 영역 중 5학년 ‘생활 속의 목제품’ 단원과 6학년 ‘생활 속의 전기･전자’이며, 내용은 두 개의 단원에 제시된 실천 활동 과제에 대한 것과 이에 대한 삽화이고, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 5학년 ‘생활 속의 목제품’ 단원의 실천 활동 과제에서 대표적인 내용의 오류나 표현･표기에서 미흡하게 나타낸 부분은 구상하기 단계의 구상도와 제작도에 관한 것으로, 제도 이론을 바르게 적용 하지 않았다는 것이며, 또 다른 것은 마름질 단계의 금 긋기와 톱질하기에 관한 것으로, 구상도에 나타낸 부품의 완성치수대로 재료에 선을 그은 경우는 가공여유 만큼 선 바깥쪽으로 톱질하거나 톱으로 잘려나가는 부분과 가공여유를 고려하여 미리 크게 선을 은 경우는 그 선위를 톱질하도록 기술한 교과서는 없었다. 6학년 ‘생활 속의 전기･전자’ 단원의 실천 활동 과제에서 대표적인 내용은 오류나 표현･표기에서 미흡하게 나타낸 부분은 실체도에 전자 부품의 규격이나 극성을 나타내지 않았다는 것이며, 또 다른 것은 회로도를 나타내지 않았으면서 준비물이나 실체도에도 부품의 규격을 전혀 나타내지 않아 어떤 규격의 전자 부품을 준비하고, 실체도의 어느 위치에 부품의 어떤 극성으로 회로를 꾸며야 할지 알 수 없도록 나타낸 교과서도 있었다. 그리고 실천 활동 과제에 대한 내용의 오류는 많지 않았 지만 삽화의 표현과 표기에서 미흡하게 나타낸 부분이 많게 나타났다. 실천 활동 과제의 수행 과정을 설명하거나 안내하는 부분은 정확하고 나타내어야 하며 학생들이 어려움을 갖지 않도록 상세하게 제시되어야 하며, 교과서의 개발 단계와 심사 과정에서 이러한 표현･표기에 더 세심한 주의를 기울여야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

영문 초록

This research is to offer correction and supplementation about insufficient part of writing&expression or content error in Practical Arts textbook now using, published by private publishing company based on 2007 revised curriculum. The analyzed units are 5th grade s wooden goods in life and 6th grade s electronic･ electricity in life in World of technology section. And analysis is about practice task indicated in those two units. The results were as follows. Content error or insufficiently expressed in practice task inside 5th grade s wooden goods in life unit are that at the stage of conception, drawing theory was not properly applied in drawing of conception and drawing of production. In the stage of Cutting out, there are no textbook explaining about how to do drawing of line and Sawing. There have to be explanation like these. You should draw the line exact complete size of component as you wrote in Drawing of Conception and then you saw outside of line considering about working allowance. Or you can draw the line considering working allowance first, and saw the line you draw. Content error or insufficiently expressed in practice task inside 6th grade s electronic･ electricity in life is first, in the substance diagram, the electronic component standard and polarity was not marked. Second, one of the textbooks didn t indicated circuit diagram and in substance diagram, component standard was not indicated at all. In this case, you have no idea what kind of standard electronic component to prepare and where to put component in which polarity. According to the analysis result, content error was not that much, but insufficient in writing and expressions were a lot. In explaining and guiding practice task has to be accurate and detailed so that students don t have difficulty to understand. When making textbook, they should pay more attention to expressions and writing at a stage of development and evaluation.
