위기청소년을 위한 원격교육기관의 원예 기반 진로교육 가능성 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 위기청소년을 위한 원격교육기관의 원예 기반 진로교육 가능성을 탐색하는 데있다. 이를 위하여 원격교육 정책, 원예 관련 원격교육 현황, 고등학교 단계 원격교육기관 현황과 교육 정책, 그리고 원예 기반 진로교육 수요를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 첫째, 방송고는 원예 관련 전문교과를 확대 편성해 10대 위기청소년을 대상으로 원예 기반 진로 교육의 기회를 제공하여 이들의 학교생활적응과 진로 탐색에 도움을 줄 수 있다. ‘생활원예(1학년) - 원예(2학년) - 원예기술(3학년)’의 3개 교과를 각 8단위로 개발하고, 식물자원․조경 교사를 배치해 지도할 수 있다. 학교에 따라 생활원예 한 과목만이라도 편성한다면 10대 위기청소년의 인성교육 및 치료에도 활용할 수 있다. 둘째, 방송고의 원예 기반 진로교육에 필요한 교원과 시설은 협력 학교와 협력기관 지정 제도를 활용해 효과적인 지도가 가능하다. 셋째, 방송고의 원예 관련 전문교과 온라인수업을 창의적 체험활동의 ‘진로활동’으로 편성해 이수할 수 있으며, EBS와 농촌진흥청 등의 식물 관련 온라인 콘텐츠를 방송고 LMS 시스템과 연동해 학습경험을 누적 관리하고 창의적 체험활동으로도 인정할 수 있다. 넷째, 방송고의 시수단위이수제를 활용하여 식물과 관련한 학교 밖의 학습경험과 자격증을 연계해 원예 기반 진로교육 기회를 확대할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore horticultural career education for youth at risk in open high schools in order to determine the factors of distance education policies, perception of education related to horticulture, policies of high schools, and requirements for career education based on horticulture. The results of this study are as follows. First, high schools can organize a vocational curriculum related to horticulture. Career education based on Living Horticulture (first grade), - Horticulture (second grade) and Horticulture Skills (third grade) were deemed appropriate. Second, to operate the horticultural education program in open high schools, teachers and facilities appropriate for horticultural career education are needed and could be supported through cooperative schools and institutes. Specialized vocational high schools for agriculture and agriculture relevant institutes will provide horticultural educational opportunities for open high school students. Third, in order to utilize digital content in plant education, open high school students will be connected to the LMS and LCMS system of open high schools. Fourth, the RPL system of open high schools promotes self-directed careers, exploring and preparing for out-of-school learning as well as horticultural certificates of qualifications.
