실과 목공 활동에 대한 감성적 이미지 분석과 미래 지향적 방향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등학생들을 위한 목공 활동에 대해 감성공학적인 접근 방법을 이용하여 이미 지를 분석하고, 학생들의 감성 이미지를 구성하고 있는 요인을 탐색하여 초등학교에서의 목공활동의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 5학년 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 실과 검정 교과서가 발행된 2007 개정 이후에 가장 빈번히 제시된 목공 활동의 상위 3개를 추출하여 각 각의 목제품을 보여주고 감성 평가 항목별로 학생들이 평가하도록 하였다. 인천지역 1 학교의 한 학급을 임의표집하여총 30명을 대상으로 평가지에 반응하도록 하였다. 측정도구를 제작하기 위하여 먼저 감성 어휘를 수집하기 위해 문헌을 조사하여 자료를 수집한 후, 최종 16의 형용사로 구성된 감성 평가 설문을 제작하였다. 16개 문항에 대한 Cronbach-α값은 0.81로 나타났다. 자료 분석의 결과에 터하여 목공 활동에 대한 감성 이미지 측면에서의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실과 시간에 제공해온 목공 활동은 일상생활과 밀접히 관련되어 있으면서 직접 활용 가능한 제품을 만들어서 실용적이면서 긍정적인 감성 이미지를 갖게 해 주었다. 메모판 만들기, 연필꽂이 만들기, 냄비 받침 만들기 등의 목공 활동이 바로 그러한 예이다. 둘째, 초등학교에서의 목공 활동은 재미있고 좋고 밝은 감성 이미지를 갖고 있으나, 한편으로는 촌스럽고 품위가 없는 이미지를 보여주고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해서는 보다 정교하고 다양하면서 창의적인 목제품의 디자인이 필요하다. 셋째, 목공 활동의 감성 이미지를 구성하고 있는 요인인 호감성, 심미성, 활용성의 세 가지로 구성 되어 있다. 호감성에는 좋은 밝은 재미있는 등의 요소가 포함되고, 심미성 요인에는 세련되고 따뜻한 요소 등이 포함된다. 활용성 요인에는 편리하고 실용적인 요소 등으로 구성되어 있다. 마지막으로, 목공 활동을 통한 학생들의 감성 이미지를 함양시키기 위하여, 호감성 요인에서는 디자인과 경험을 제공해 주고, 심미성 요인에서는 다양한 목재를 다루아야 한다. 또한 활용성 요인에 서는 다양한 공구의 활용을 통해 실생활에서 직접 사용할 수 있는 제품을 만들어 봄으로서 감성을 높이도록 할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analysis of woodworking activities using emotional engineering approach, to explore the factors of students’ emotional image, and to present future directions in Practical Arts education based on emotional image factors. In order to achieve the goal, this study was conducted a survey of fifth grade students. By random sampling, and were a class of Incheon to respond to the evaluation questions for a total of 30 students. To make an assessment tool, and then collect verified by the emotional vocabulary through a literature survey, it designed the Emotional Assessment Questionnaire consisting of 16 adjectives. Cronbach-α value for sensitivity test items are found to be 0.81. On the basis of the results of data analysis, the conclusion of the emotion from the image side to the woodworking activities is as follows. First, woodworking activities in the Practical Arts classes had to have a positive emotional image. Woodworking products are closely related to the daily life and because it can be used as practical. Second, woodworking activities in elementary school have a good fun and light sensitivity image. On the one hand, it shows no refined beauty without a decent image. In order to improve this disadvantage, it is more sophisticated and creative design of a variety of wood product required. Third, the factors that make up an image of emotion woodworking activities, consists of three good sensibility, aesthetics, and utilization possibilities. There is great emotion, including the nice, bright, fun items; aesthetic factors are included in this stylish and warm item. Utilization factors are likely to consist of convenient, practical items. Finally, in order to cultivate the students through the emotional image of the woodworking activities, and should provide a good emotional factors in design and experience, the aesthetic factor to deal with a variety of wood. In addition, there is a need to take advantage of potential factors to create a product that can be used directly in the real world through the use of various tools to improve the emotion.
