초등 실과 수송기술 영역의 구성방향 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등 실과 수송기술 영역의 구성방향을 탐색하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구와 면담의 방법을 사용하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등 교육과정 속 수송기술교육 내용은 과거 지식 위주의 교육에서 창의성, 체험 중심의 교육으로 변하는 양상을 보이고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 초등학교에서의 수송기술교육은 교과의 특성을 반영하여 다학문적으로 구성되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 2009 개정 교육과정 중등 기술교육에서 이루어지고 있는 수송기술교육 내용을 분석한 결과 체험 활동에서 다루고 있는 활동들이 자동차의 형태로 만들어져 있으며 주로 외형을 바꾸어보는 형태로 만들어져있음을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 미국의 기술교육 표준을 분석한 결과 정부의 규제에 관한 내용을 제외하고 우리나라의 교육과정에 포함된 내용이 미국의 기술교육 표준과 유사하게 나타나고 있었다. 다섯째, 다양한 구성원들의 의견을 종합한 결과 학생들은 잘 준비되어 있으나 교사의 준비가 부족하고 내용이나 키트의 구성에 많은 연구가 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 교육현장의 상황을 고려하여 내용과 키트를 구성해 줄 것을 요구하고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 다음과 같이 실과 교과의 수송기술교육에 있어서 구성방향을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 수송기술교육의 내용을 바탕으로 실과, 과학, 사회, 체육 교과가 주제중심의 통합적 교육을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 둘째, 창의적인 제작 실습과 함께 법과 규제에 관한 내용 등을 포함함으로써 탐구할 거리가 있는 체험 활동으로 구성한다. 셋째, 외부 영향에 의하여 내용에 변화가 생기더라도 실과 그 자체가 가지는 가치를 보존할 수 있도록 초, 중, 고등학교를 아우르는 실과교육의 교육 표준을 만든다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the direction of transportation technology in elementary schools. Research activities include reviewing literature and administering interviews. The results were as follows. Firstly, the contents of transportation technology education in the secondary curriculum have changed from knowledge-oriented education to creativity and experience-oriented education. Secondly, it was confirmed that transportation technology education in elementary schools was composed of various academic fields reflecting the characteristics of each subject. Thirdly, as a result of analyzing the contents of transportation technology education in elementary? education curriculum revised in 2009, it could be seen that activities covered in experiential activities were made in the form of automobiles, and it was seen that they were mainly made to change the external shape. Fourthly, as a result of analyzing American standards of technology education, except for the regulation of the government, the contents included in Korea s curriculum were similar to American technology education standards. Fifthly, the result of interviews showed that students were well-prepared, while the preparation of the teachers was insufficient and more research is needed in of contents and kits. In particular, it was required to construct contents and kits, considering the situation of the education field. Based on this study, we would like to suggest the direction of transportation technology education in practical arts as below. Firstly, based on the contents of transportation technology education, opportunities of theme-centered integrated education should be provided in practical arts, science, social studies and physical education classes. Secondly, testing the effects of experiential activities with contents about law, regulations and creative producing practice should explored. Thirdly, educational standards for practical arts education that can be applied to all elementary, middle, and high schools should be created so that the value of the subject can be preserved, even if there is a change in the contents due to external influences.
