구조방정식을 이용한 바이오필리아와 소프트 스킬의 관계 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 식물, 동물, 환경과 관련된 학습활동을 통해 학생들에게 체득시킬 수 있는 소프트 스킬을 바이오필리아의 관점에서 구명해보기 위해 수행되었으며, 바이오필리아와 소프트 스킬의 개념 고찰, 이를 측정하기 위한 검사 도구의 개발, 회귀모형을 활용하여 소프트 스킬이 바이오필리아에 미치는 영향력을 구명, 이들 사이의 인과관계를 구명하기 위한 구조 모형의 작성과 적합도 검증, 모형의 상대적 중요도와 적합도 순위의 산출, 그리고 교육적 활용 방안의 제시를 주 내용으로 설정하여 연구를 추진하였다. 선행 연구의 고찰과 탐색적 요인 분석을 통해 바이오필리아를 구성하는 8개의 소프트 스킬 변인을 선정하였으며, 14개의 소프트스킬 요인을 투입한 회귀분석을 통해 최종적으로 이타심, 유연성, 통섭력, 개척심, 리더십으로 구성된 5개의 회귀모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 5개의 회귀모형을 바탕으로 5개의 구조방정식 모형을 구안하여 검증을 실시한 결과 모든 모형의 적합도가 의미 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, ‘모형 1’과 ‘모형 2’의 적합도가 매우 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 바이오 필리아를 구성하는 8개의 관련 변인들 중에서는 ‘힘이 되어주는’, ‘배려심 있는’, ‘통찰력 있는’, ‘신뢰할 만한’ 스킬의 상대적 중요도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 바이오필리아와 관련성이 높은 초등학교 실과교과의 동식물 및 환경 관련 학습활동을 기획하는 과정에서 이러한 소프트 스킬을 미래인재가 갖추어야 할 핵심역량으로 선정하여 적용하는 후속연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between soft skills and biophilia that can be learned by doing through school activities related to plants, animals and environment. Research activities in the study included reviewing the concepts of biophilia and soft skills, extracting related variables, scaling for measurement, deducing factors, designing the regression model, designing and testing the structure equation modeling, calculating beta coefficient and goodness-of-fit ranking for model selection, and making pedagogical implications. The IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used to analyze data. Statistical tests such as reliability, factor analysis, correlation, multiple regression, structure equation modeling were performed. The results of this study indicated that the 14 factors related to soft skills were classified for independent variables, the 8 variables were explored and selected for biophilia as a dependent variable. Five soft skills such as altruistic, flexible, perceptive, pioneering, and charismatic were chosen by step-wised multiple regression as independent variables. R squared of biophilia by 5 soft skills was about 81%. Among 5 models developed by regression, goodness-of-fits models 1 and 2 were very high. Also, beta coefficient of soft skills in terms of being supportive, sensitive, insight, and dependable and biophilia was high. Therefore, these soft skills need to be developed in not only practical arts subject but also general learning activities in school.
