화물자동차 적재물 사고의 발생 요인이 보험금지급에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

국내 트럭 화물운송은 매일 매일 각종 트럭 사고로 인해 막대한 적재물 보험금을 지불하고 있고, 사고를 유발하는 원인도 더욱 다양화 되고 있다. 내륙운송에 관한 한 도로운송의 비중이 높아지는 것은 필연적 귀결이나 적재물 사고를 둘러싼 원인과 결과, 보험금 지급금의 차이에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 날씨, 사고유형, 사고 장소, 기후 등 사고원인과 보험금 지급금의 차이를 규명하는 한편 우리나라 내륙화물운송에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 화물공제조합의 트럭 사고 중 적재물 사고에 대한 자료를 분석하고 사고원인과 보험금과의 관계를 분석하기 위해 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 적재물 사고를 둘러싼 다양한 특성과 인과관계를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Purpose :　Due to the “day-to-day” accidents that ouccur in the trucking industry, a large amount of insurance settlements have been made. Despite the overwhelming usage rate of trucking in inland transport, very few studies that attempt to explain the relationship between the causes of accidents and the subsequent cargo insurance payments have been conducted. This study analyses the impact that issues such as weather, accident types, locations, seasons, etc. has on cargo insurance payments in Korea. Research Design, data, methodology : Five years worth of data was obtained from the Korea Trucking Association and was used to assess the relationship between the causes of trucking accidents and cargo insurance payments. This research was designed to be comparative assessment of the causes of accidents and insurance payments. It utilizes oneway anova. Results : The data analysis confirms the characteristics and the differences between the causes and their effects on insurance payments. This study also provides insights into trucking accidents, cargo insurance and loaded cargo accidents that occur in Korea.
