국문 초록

이광수에서 시작된 근대적 문학 개념은 1990년대를 맞이하여 종언을 고하게 된다. 새로운 문학연구 및 문학비평은 근대적 문학 개념에 대한 탈신비화를 당연하게 전제한다. 그것은 문학연구 및 비평에서 ‘철학’(혹은 이론)의 영향력이 강해진 탓이다. 구조주의에서 비롯된 철학적 문학이론은 문학연구 및 비평에서 작가와 작품의 위상에 대한 저평가를 주도하였다. 그 결과 문학비평에서는 작가와 작품 대신에 ‘이론’(혹은 철학)이 주요 관심대상으로 부상하게 된다. 문학 대신에 철학이 지배력을 얻게 된 것이다. 문학연구에서는 작가와 작품이 (대중)문화의 일부로 포함되어 연구되는 경향을 보인다. 이로써 문학과 철학, 역사 사이에 엄밀한 구별이 불가능한 통섭적 연구의 길이 열린 것이다. 이는 전통적인 근대적 인문학의 분과체계가 붕괴하고 있음을 보여준다. 이것은 문학의 자기 해체와 경계 허물기를 통해서 도달한 현상이다. 그리고 그것은 문학으로 침투한 ‘철학’(혹은 이론)에서 비롯된 것이라 할 수 있다. 인문학의 위기는 그러므로 시장의 요구라는 외부적 요인에 의해서만 설명될 것이 아니다. 근대적 학문 체계에 대한 인문학 내부에서의 자기반성도 중요하게 작용하였다. 인문학의 위기는 곧 인문학 내부의 분과학문의 위기였던 것이고, 그것은 문/사/철이 융합되었던 인문학의 원형으로의 복귀이기도 하다.

영문 초록

Facing the 1990s, the modern concept of literature started from Lee Gwang㊀su becomes an end. The new study of literature and criticism about the modern concept would be premised for the demystification. It is attributable to the stronger influence of literary studies and criticism in Philosophy (or Theory). Philosophical literary theory stemmed from structuralist literary theory was led to undervaluation of the phase of the authors and their works in the study of literature and criticism. As the result, Theory (or Philosophy) were emerging as a major interest in literary criticism instead of the authors and their works. This philosophy is gain dominance instead of literature. In the study of literature, authors and their works tends to be included to study as part of the popular culture. Hereby, consilience way of study which is impossible strict distinction between literature, philosophy and history would opened. This shows that the traditional system of modern humanities division would be disintegrated. This is a phenomenon reaching through the self㊀dissolution and break down boundaries of literature. Also, it should be derived from the philosophy penetrates in to literature. Therefore, This is not the crisis of the humanities would be explained only by external factors that the market requirements. Self㊀reflection was also important for the internal operation of the humanities in modern academic system. In other words, Humanities crisis is explained by the crisis of departmental studies within the Humanities.
