영문 초록

This study aims at divulging basic structure and evolution mechanism of IT hustrY knowledge network in Chungnam Province. In tenns of method이 ogical approaches, it analyzes fonnation of social network among joint research institutions. which have been initiated from Chungnam- based universities from 2αl5 to 2008 l'vlajor findings are as foIl0 V5: First of all, even though the public organizations have strenglhened major links of knowledge network. it cannot underestimate the latenl force of the private sector as its participation rate is about 56.4%. Secondly, in Chungnam Provînce, sectors representing the centralities are confined to semiconductor and display Prcscntly, “s thcy havc becn dc gnated as bnmd- ne‘v growth engines by the central govemment, it is almost certain that their synergy efflκt wou be expanded over time Thirdly, compared with Chungnam- based organizations, comparatively higher parti patOn rate comes from the Capita! Regωn ， encompassing both Seoul and Gyeonggi. In addition the participatîon rate from Daej∞ n is almost same as thal of Chungnam, exicitly indicatin" the fact that eXlema!. not intemal‘ force still exerts more powerful impact Nonetheless, judging from lime-series data, intemal linkag얹 among Chungnam - bad organizations have shown ever- increasing trends. In general, the overall IT Industry knowledge network in Chungnam Province has evolved from the linear paltems to the plural ones. Therefore. the- rich -get-richer and the ∞α get-poorer mechanism has been ameliorated over the research period, im미 icitly implying that the veJ끼 acuJar IT network in Chungnam Province has rather randomly formulated, even without any ’tlagship’ orgamzatlOo
