영문 초록

The locational conflict on a urban public service facility was more strengthened as a result of the increasing demand for and the advanced awareness of standard on a public facility. It is important to reduce the locational conflict through logical bases. This research evaluate the location, and discover the optimal location, specially gu-office, fire station and post office in Ulsan. A computer software package, called F-Locator, was adopted to analyze the spatial efficiency and equity of those public service of the selected facilities. The central point represent spatial efficiency. Central point measured the minimizing sum of total distance that user of those facilities travelled. The center point showed spatial equity : it measured the minimizing maximum distance that users of those facilities travelled. The results of this research indicated that the locational evaluation of urban public service facilities discover whether or not locational appropriateness was proper. Optimal location selection suggested that a new facility location was to be determined to certain region.
