국문 초록

본 연구에서는 컴퓨터․정보 소양을 측정하는 국제비교 연구인 ICILS 2013 최상위국인 체코와 우리나라의 컴퓨터․정보 소양에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 비교하고 양국의 차이점으로부터 도출한 우리나라 컴퓨터․정보 소양 교육의 발전 방향에 대하여 논의하였다. 2수준 다층모형을 이용하여 양국의 성취를 분석한 결과, 우리나라 학생들은 국제적인 수준에서 우수한 컴퓨터․정보 소양 능력을 보였으나, 성별에 따른 격차가 가장 크게 나타났다. 이와는 대조적으로 체코의 경우 성별에 따른 차이가 거의 없었다. 기본 ICT 자아효능감, 의사소통 관련 ICT 사용 등의 변인은 양국 모두에서 컴퓨터․정보 소양에 정적인 영향을 주었으며, 상호작용모형 분석에서는 교사들이 협력적으로 ICT를 활용하는 것이 학생들의 기본 ICT 능력에 대한 자아효능감과 긍정적인 상호작용 효과를 나타냈다. 전체적으로 우리나라 학생들은 체코에 비해 교사의 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 나타났지만, ICT 관련 교사 교육은 체코에 비해 부족한 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 대책 마련이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The importance of computer and information literacy, which is regarded as the essential ability of the students to live in 21st century’s knowledge and information society, is being increasingly highlighted. Based on such international interest, the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS), the first international assessment on Computer and Information Literacy (CIL), was conducted in 2013. By means of 2-level hierarchical linear model analyses, this contribution focuses on teacher and school related factors contributing to students’ achievement of CIL of Korea and Czech Republic. “Basic ICT self-efficacy,” and “ICT for social communication” had the positive effect on the CIL of both countries. In the model that analyzed the interactions of the student level variables and school level variables, “basic ICT self-efficacy and cooperative ICT activities of the teachers” had an effect on CIL in Korea. Through these results, relevant teaching and learning methods to improve the problems through public education need to be prepared
