국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국내외 신혼여행목적지의 실질적인 경쟁관제와 선호도를 파악하고, 신혼여행목적지 선택(국내/국외)에 영향을 미치는 관광지 속성을 도출하기 위해 실시되었다. 이러한 목적을 위해 설문조사는 편의표본추출법을 통해 신혼여행의 목표시장인 20-30대 미혼 남ㆍ여를 대상으로 2007년 11월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 약 2달 동안 수행되었고, 몇 가지 실증결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 유사성 비교를 통해 국외 신혼여행목적지는 동남아시아국가 간, 유럽 간, 서태평양에 위치한 국가 간 강한 경쟁관계를 보이고 있었으나, 국내 신혼여행목적지 간은 미약한 경쟁관계에 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 응답자들이 가장 이상적으로 생각하고 있는 국내 신혼여행지는 제주도, 국외 신혼여행지는 스위스로 나타났다. 셋째, 국내가 아닌 국외를 신혼여행지로 선택할 확률에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 관광지 속성은 ‘다양하고 쾌적한 숙박시설’인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify not only substantial competitiveness but also preference of internal and external honeymoon destinations, and then to examine attributes of the tourism site, which could indicate an effect on honeymoon destination choice(internal/external). For this purpose, this study conducted convenience sampling survey of single people in their 20s-30s, from Nov. 1st to Dec 31th, 2007. The significant findings were as follows. First, the comparative method of similarities showed that there was a strong competitive relationship among Southeast Asia(Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia), Western European countries(France, Switzerland) and the West Pacific Islands (Guam; Saipan) in overseas honeymoon destinations, while domestic honeymoon destinations bad weak relationship. Second, respondents answered that the most ideal domestic destination is Jeju Island and foreign one is Switzerland Third, it was 'diverse and comfortable accommodation' factors among the attributes of the tourism site that had considerable positive effects on honeymoon destination choice(internal/external)
