국문 초록

관광소비자 행동은 종종 가족이나 친구, 동료 등 집단으로 이루어지는 경우가 많다. 특히 대학생들은 어떤 관광소비자 보다 친구들과 집단으로 여행을 하려는 경향이 두드러진다. 본 연구의 목적은 왜 대학생들이 친구와 여행을 가려하며 여행을 가려는 의도에 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구 수행을 위하여 집단으로 함께 행동하려는 의도에 대해서 보다 자세히 이해하고 이를 설명하기 위해서 행동심리학에서 연구되어온 계획된 행동이론에서 확장된 목표지향 행동모델(Model of Goal-directed Behavior(MGB)과 사회정체성이론(Social Identity Theory)이 사용되었으며 이를 기초로 하여 이론적 모델을 구성하고 검증하였다. 연구를 위해 구조방정식 분석이 사용 되었으면 제시된 일곱 가지 가설 중 주관적 규범이 열망에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의하지 않게 밝혀졌고 나머지 가설들은 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 연구 되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 이용한 이론적, 실무적 시사점이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to examine what factors that motivate college and University students to commit to participating in group vacation trips. For this a theoretical model was adopted from the consumer and marketing literature which integrated three social behavior theories : goal directed behavior (an extended model from the theory of planned behavior), social identity theory, and a conceptual framework based on the concept of we-intention. The theoretical model of group vacations was tested and confirmed via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). All hypothesized relationships in the SEM model were positive and statistically significant, except the link between subject norm and desire to take a vacation trip with group friends. Academic and practical implications were suggested based on the results.
