영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to determine how young children's self-regulation and mothers' imperative verbal control affect leadership in early childhood. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in 222 five-year-old children's mather and their teacher at child care centers in Cheongju and Cheongwon, The collected data were processed by using an SPSS 12.0 program to carry out t-test, F-test, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that the better self examination young children made, the better goal-achieving ability, human relationship ability, re-creative ability, and command ability. Also, the better behavioral inhibition young children made, the better human relationship ability, re-creative ability, and command ability they showed. The effects of mothers' imperative verbal control differed between the children making good self-examination and those making poor self-examination, and between the children making good behavioral inhibition and those making poor behavioral inhibition due to the interactive effects between young children's self-regulation and mothers' imperative verbal control groups.
