장애인의 사회경제적 지위가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 사회경제적 지위가 건강수준과 자아존중감을 매개로 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용공단의 '제5차 장애인고용패널조사'에 참여한 장애인 총 4,297명 중 1,031명을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 구조방정식 모형(Structural Equation Modeling)을 활용하여 다양한 요인들이 어떤 경로를 통해 삶의 질에 직ㆍ간접적으로 양향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 연구결과 사회경제적 지위는 삶의 질에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회경제적 지위는 건강수준과 자아존중감에 영향을 미치고 건강수준과 자아존중감은 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 건강수준과 자아존중감은 사회경제적 지위와 삶의 질의 관계에서 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 함의와 정책방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to verify the effect of socio-economic status on quality of life of people with disabilities through the mediating effect of health level and self-esteem. For this study, date were drawn from the 'Fifth Disabled Employment Panel Survey' conducted in Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled and 1031 people among 4297 people with disabilities were used in the actual analysis. SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) was utilized to analyze a variety of factors influencing directly or indirectly on the quality of life through various paths. Consequently, analysis results showed that socio-economic status have a direct impact on quality of life. In addition, health status and self-esteem has a mediating effect on the relationship between socio-economic status and quality of life. Lastly, the implications of the study were presented on the basis of the analysis results.
