영문 초록

The purpose of this study were : 1) to classify groups by cluster analysis for undergraduate's food-related lifestyle, and 2) to examine differences in pattern to dining-out consumption for each cluster of food-related lifestyles. Frequency analysis, chi-square, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, reliability analysis and cluster analysis were used to analyze the data. Five clusters were obtained from cluster analysis of food-related lifestyle ; Cluster1 "health-oriented group", Cluster2 "careless dietary group", Cluster3 "taste-oriented group", Cluster4 "safety-oriented group", Cluster5 "dietary enthusiastic group". Upon dining out, health-orientation group made major decisions on their own. Careless dietary group dined out mainly for simple meals and spent relatively less money in dining out than other groups, and the most of them dined out 5 times or less per month. Taste-oriented group obtained information on dining-out restaurants via visiting experiences and acquaintance, and dined out more frequently than any other groups. Finally, dietary enthusiastic group dined out to face a variety of cuisines while getting along with acquaintance, and tended to take seats for 1 hour or longer while spending ￦20,000 or more money in dining out, which indicated that they took seats for longer hours than any other groups.
