국문 초록

본 연구는 개인 및 학급차원에서 자기결정교수학습모델(SDLMI)을 적용한 중고등학교 특수학급교사와 장애학생들의 경험을 토대로 SDLMI의 중재 효과 및 효과적인 적용을 위한 지원 요구를 조사하였다. 이를 위해 13명의 중고등학교 특수교사와 25명의 장애학생을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 면담 및 개별 면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 면담자료와 SDLMI 적용을 지원하기 위한 온라인 카페에 교사들이 남긴 후기, 학생들의 SDLMI 학생질문에 대한 답을 분석한 결과 다음과 같이 6개의 대주제가 도출되었다: (1) 모델구성 관련 장점, (2) 모델 구성 관련 단점, (3) 모델 적용의 효과, (4) 모델 적용의 어려움, (5) 효과적인 모델 적용을 위한 팁, (6) 향후 모델 수정 및 적용을 위한 지원 요구. 도출된 대주제 및 하위주제를 바탕으로 중등 통합교육 현장에서 장애학생들의 자기결정력 증진을 위한 보다 효과적인 모델 개발의 필요성 및 적용을 위한 제언이 제공되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction(SDLMI) and support needs for its effective application based on experiences of secondary special education teachers and their students with disabilities, who applied SDLMI in the individual and class(group) levels. For this study, focus group and individual interviews were conducted with 13 special teachers and 25 students with disabilities. In addition to qualitative data from the interviews, other data were collected from teachers’ reflections in the one-line community and SDLMI student worksheet and all collected data were analyzed using a constant comparative method. From the qualitative analysis, six themes emerged as follows: (a) merits related to the model, (b) demerits related to the model, (c) effects of application of the model, (d) difficulties regarding application of the model, (e) tips for effective applications of the model, and (f) support needs for modifications and application of the model. Based on the findings, further implications were provided to develope and apply an effective model for promoting self-determination of students with disabilities in inclusive education setting.
