국문 초록

본 연구는 개별차원의 긍정적 행동지원(Positive Behavior Support：PBS)이 중증 자폐성 장애학생의 수업참여행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 일반학급 담임교사가 의뢰한 중증 자폐성 장애학생으로, 일반중학교 특수학급에 재학중이다. 본 연구는 단일대상연구방법 중 행동간 중다 기초선 설계(multiple baseline across behaviors)를 적용하였으며, 기능평가에 근거하여 수업참여행동(반응, 착석, 과제수행)을 목표행동으로 설정하였으며, 다요소 중재(선행사건, 대체행동 교수, 후속결과 중재)을 포함하고 있는 PBS를 실시하여 목표행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구결과 개별차원의 PBS는 중증 자폐성 장애학생의 수업참여행동의 증가에 효과적인 것으로 나타났으며 중재를 실시한 장소 이외의 통합 상황에서의 일반화를 통해 중재가 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of individual with severe autism spectrum disorder(ASD)’ positive behavior support(PBS) intervention to increase the class engagement behaviors(i. e., responding, sitting, on-task behaviors). In this study, a 13-year-old female student enrolled in general middle school participated. For establishing the appropriate intervention, functional behavioral assessment (FBA) was implemented by PBS team. In this study, a single subject design with multiple baseline across behaviors was implemented. According to the result, the individualized PBS was effective to increase the target three class engagement behaviors. Moreover, maintenance condition was retaining low occurrences of the overall dependent variables. In conclusion, this study indicated that PBS through the cooperation with the PBS team was effective to increase the target behaviors and sustained the low occurrence of the target behaviors generally. Implications of the suggestion and discussion for the practice for future research were described in the discussion section.
