자유학기제에 따른 미술교과 융합교육 방안 연구

국문 초록

본고는 자유학기제 도입에 따른 미술교육의 역할에 있어서 융합교육을 통해 보다 효율적인 진로교육이 될 수 있도록 하기 위한 방법을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 자유학기제의 모델로 삼은 아일랜드 전환학년제를 살펴보고, 자유학기제 운영방향과 시범운영 모형을 분석하였으며, 여러 교과 간 융합요소와 '진로와 직업'을 연계하는 방법으로 자유학기제가 추구하고자 하는 교육이 될 수 있도록 하였다. 미술교육은 시각적 이미지를 통해 공간과 시간의 요소를 모두 활용 가능하기 때문에 융합의 매개체로서 비교적 유연하게 타 교과와의 연계가 이루어질 수 있다. 그리고 스토리텔링, 토의ㆍ토론식, 응용실습, 마인드맵, 게임식, 스마트폰 활용 등의 방법을 활용하여 학습자의 흥미를 유지하여 수엽의 효과를 높일 수 있다. 자유학기제 미술교과의 융합교육 방안으로 첫 번째, 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 과학, 공학, 기술 동의 지식을 활용한 표현활동을 통해 학습자 스스로 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 내용을 구성한 표현활동 중심 융합수엽과 두 번째, 역사, 공화, 기술 등의 지식을 활용하여 보다 깊이 있게 작품을 읽는 능력을 기르고 그 안에서 과학적 사고를 통한 웅용표현으로 진로탐색의 기초를 마련할 수 있는 감상 중심 융합수업을 제시하였다. 이러한 융합교육의 효용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자 스스로 문제 해결 방법을 찾아가는 창의적 설계과정 속에서 능동적 태도를 기를 수 있다. 둘째, 감성적 사고와 논리적 사고의 결합으로 창의력 신장 및 적극적 문제 해결력을 기를 수 있다. 셋째, 지식의 전달이 아닌 새로운 발상의 기회를 제공한다. 넷째, 학문들 간 연계와 타인과의 상호작용올 통해 긍정적 사고의 형성에 효과적이다. 마지막으로 자아존중감 향상과 미술교육의 위상올 높일 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to present the ways to establish art education as one of the efficient career education in a convergent education for an introduction of free learning semester. For this, by examining Ireland Transition Year as a model of free learning semester, the direction of operation and the model of test operation for free learning semester will be analyzed, and as one of the ways for the convergence of a subject with other subjects, and the connection between the career and the vocation, free learning semester will be dealt with. As the medium of the convergence, art education is more likely to be connected to the different subjects because it has the potential to utilize all the elements of time and space through the visual images. The utilization of storytelling, a discussion, practice of application, mind-map, a game, a smart phone and etc. can enhance the educational effects by keeping students' interest in lessons. Among the ways of convergence education utilizing art education for free learning semester, the first is the knowledge representation oriented convergent lesson where the contents are organized in order to help the learners themselves in their career exploration through expressive activities using the knowledge on science based on the historical facts, engineering and technology and etc. The second is appreciation oriented convergent lesson where the learners enhance the ability to appreciate work in depth using the knowledge on science based on the historical facts, engineering and technology and etc. and the foundation of career exploration using the application expression through the scientific thinking is built. The effective in this convergence education is as follows. First, creative design process in which students themselves find a way to solve the problem help them to develop an active attitude. Second, the learners can develop active problem solving ability and the creativity through the combination of sensitive thinking and logical thinking. Third, convergence education provides students with a chance to present new ideas instead of delivering knowledge. Fourth, convergence education is effective in forming a positive thinking through the connection among a wide range of studies and interaction with others. Finally, the value of convergence education resides in the fact that self-worth of the learners is enhanced and art education increases in stature.
