도예전시 관람을 통한 초등학생의 감상능력 신장

국문 초록

예술적 가치를 지닌 작품을 전시하는 미술관은 다양한 장르의 동시대 미술품을 관람객에게 소개함으로써 편중되지 않은 창작 문화를 이끌 책임과 의무가 있다. 그러나 오늘날의 미술관들에서 개최되는 전시회는 회화, 조각, 미디어 분야를 중심으로 기획되고 있으며 도예를 비롯한 공예 작품은 상대적으로 소외되는 경향을 보인다. 이는 관람객이 생활 속의 미술에 대해 올바른 예술적 가치 인식을 갖고 친숙함을 갖는데 방해요소가 된다고 볼 수 있으며, 특히 미적가치관이 형성되는 시기에 있는 초등학생들에게는 더욱 그러하다. 이에 본 연구는 미술관에서의 도예전시가 타 장르의 전시와 어떤 차별성을 갖는지 살펴보고 초등학생의 미술관 도예전시 관람이 미의식 고취와 문화이해 등 감상능력 신장에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

An art museum not only exhibits the contemporary art works which represent the cultural standing of present times. but also offers an educational experience across the wide range of art works to visitors. Therefore. an art museum has responsibility and obligation to introduce various art genres with unbiased manner. However. the trend of these days shows that the most of the exhibition plans are concentrated on painting, sculpture and media arts . The applied fine art area such as ceramic art is rarely planned to exhibit. This may hamper the creation and recognition of proper concept on the value of the art and craft. This situation particularly does apply to the children who are in the stage of forming a sense of value. In this study, we examined the difference of pottery exhibition compare to other types of exhibitions and also examined how pottery exhibition affects the establishment of aesthetic and cultural appreciation abilities of elementary school students.
