발달장애아 부모의 비합리적 신념과 우울 및 불안 의식의 특징 및 구조적 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달장애아 부모가 자녀를 양육하면서 가지는 심리적 변인인 비합리적 신념과 우울, 불안의식의 특정을 밝히고 구조적인 관계에 대하여 파악함으로써 발달장애아 부모를 지원하는 방안의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다 부산지역의 발달센터와 장애인복지관에서 교육을 받거나 등록되어 있는 발달장애아 부모 242명을 대상으로 한국판 일반적 태도 및 신념척도(General Attitude and Belief Scale-Korean version: GABS-K)와 한국우울 검사(Korean Depression Scale: KDS), 상태-특성 불안 검사(State-Trait Anxiety Inventory: STAI)의 설문지를 배부한 후 실시하였다 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 부모학력에 있어서 유의미한 차이는 보이지 않았으며 부모의 경제적 수준에 있어서 우울에서는 중간 경제적 수준의 집단이 불안의식에 있어서는 하위의 경제적 수준의 집단이 높게 나타났다 자녀 출생순위에 있어서도 비합리적 신념과 우울은 자녀의 출생 순위가 많을수록 높은 경향을 보였다 자녀의 학교급에 있어서 비합리적 신념은 어린이집과 유치원의 자녀를 둔 집단이 초등학교나 중학교에 소속된 집단의 자녀를 둔 부모에서 높게 나타났다 자녀의 장애유형에 있어서는 우울과 불안의식 모두 자녀의 장애유형이 자폐성 장애아를 둔 부모가 정신지체아나 기타 장애를 가진 자녀의 부모보다 높게 나타났다 자녀의 장애정도에서는 비합리적 신념 , 우울과 불안의식 모두 자녀의 장애정도가 중등도인 부모가 경도나 중동의 장애를 가진 부모보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다 셋째, 발달장애아 부모의 비합리적 신념과 우울 및 불안 의식 간의 연관성과 각 하위 영역간의 상관관계가 나타났다 또한 발달장애아 부모의 비합리적 신념, 우울, 불안 의식간의 구조적 관계 분석 중 연구 모형의 확인적 요인에서 변인 경로별 유의성을 나타냈고, 연구모형의 검증에서 잠재변인별 구조적 관계가 적절하게 구성되어 있었다. 또한 인과효과의 분석에서 발달장애아 부모의 비합리 적 신념과 우울 및 불안 의식에서 비합리적 신념이 우울에 미치는 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났으며 비합리적 신념에서 불안 의식에 직접적인 효과보다 간접적인 효과에서 유의하며 우울이 불안 의식에 미치는 인과 효과 역시 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aims to provide basic materials for plans of supporting parents of children with developmental disabilities by figuring out the characteristics of their irrational belief, depression and anxiety consciousness, which are psychological variables shown in their child care, and examining the structural relationship between those variables. The subjects were 242 parents of children with developmental disabilities, who have been trained in or registered to some development centers and welfare centers for the Disabled in Busan. The research was carried out in such a way that the questionnaires of the General Attitude and Belief Scale-Korean version (GABS-K), the Korean Depression Scale (KDS) and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (ST AI) were distributed to those subjects and their answers were collected back. The conclusions of this study were made as follows. First, out of those parents' background variables including parents' academic backgrounds, economical levels and child birth orders, those economical levels and child birth orders showed a statistically significant difference in their irrational belief, depression and anxiety consciousness. Second, there was a statistically meaningful difference in the child school levels, disability types and disability degrees, which are those children's background variables. Turd, there was a relation between those parents' irrational belief, depression and anxiety consciousness, and also a correlation between subordinate categories. During an analysis on the structural relationship between those parents' irrational belief, depression and anxiety consciousness, there was significance in each variable path in the confirmatory factor analysis of this research model. And there was a structural relationship for each potential variable in the verification of this research model. Furthermore, in the analysis of causal effects, those parents' irrational belief had a large effect on depression, while such irrational belief shows significance in its indirect effect on anxiety consciousness rather than its direct effect. It was also indicated that the effect of depression on anxiety consciousness was significant.
