국문 초록

본 논문은 현대인이 평생학습자로서 속성을 가지고 생활화하는 과정에서 다양한 특성들이 나타나고 있음을 전제로 하여, 특성들을 기준으로 다원화되고 있는 평생학습자의 유형을 군집화 시키고 개념화하여, 각 군집유형별 평생학습자의 특성프로파일을 논의하는 것이었다. 연구의 방법은 조사대상자를 평생학습 특성별로 군집화하기 위해 계층적 군집분석을 실시하였으며, 평생학습자의 특성프로파일의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 요인분석을 적용하였다. 군집화된 평생학습자의 특성프로파일을 실증적으로 비교분석하여 확인하기 위해 변량분석도 병행하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 평생학습자는 5개의 군집유형으로 확인되었고 각 군집유형은 독특한 특성프로파일을 가지고 있음이 통계적으로 유의미하게 확인되었다. 둘째, 평생학습자의 군집유형은 무관심 평생학습자, 소극적 평생학습자, 의존적 평생학습자, 주도적 평생학습자, 창조적 평생학습자 등 5개로 개념화하였으며, 각 유형의 특성프로파일에 대해 논의하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 평생학습자인 현대인의 속성을 다양한 특성프로파일을 통해 이해하고 조망하게 하여 그들에 대한 효과적이고 실효성 있는 상담과 컨설팅을 가능하게 하는데 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The preposition of this study is that the modern people as lifelong learner has been a diverse characteristics in practicing the lifelong learning. The purpose of this study were to cluster empirically the diverse classifications of the lifelong learners, to make the named academic conception, to compare statistically the characteristic profiles, and to discuss the related implications. The research methods were the hierarchical cluster analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA). Data collected from 451 lifelong learners of nationwide resident by survey techniques. The findings of this study as follows. First finding was identified empirically the clustered 5 lifelong learners with the unique characteristics profile. Second finding made new concept for the clustered 5 lifelong learner as follows: the unconcerned lifelong learner, passive lifelong learner, dependent lifelong learner, initiative lifelong learner, creative lifelong learner. The main implications from this study were to extended in terms of academic principles the insight of understanding behavioral patterns and characteristics with related lifelong learning practice of the modern people as lifelong learner and to make a possible of the specific counselling and consulting strategies according to the clustered 5 lifelong learner.
