국문 초록

본 연구는 전환학습과 도덕발달에 대해 살펴보기 위한 것으로 사회운동경험을 가진 여성정치인이 관점의 전환을 통해 정치인이 되어 가는 과정에서 나타나는 도덕발달과 비판적 성찰, 도덕발달과 이성적 담화의 관계를 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 여성정치인에게 도덕발달은 어떤 의미인지를 탐구하였다. 기본적·일반적 질적 연구방법에 의해 수행된 본 연구는 전·현직 여성 기초의원, 광역의원, 국회의원 8명을 심층 면접하여 이루어졌다. 연구결과 여성정치인들의 도덕발달은 전환학습을 통하여 이루어진다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 전환학습에 있어 정서의 역할과 함께 맥락의 중요성이 확인되었다. 다양한 방식의 비판적 성찰과 이성적 담화를 통해 연구참여자들은 도덕적 행동을 하는 존재가 되었으며, 의미만들기의 결과 정치를 실천행동으로 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 여성정치인들은 도덕발달을 통해 공공선과 정의가 포함된 보살핌 행위로서 정치를 선택하였는데 여성이 정치인이 되는 과정은 인식의 전환을 중심으로 도덕적 존재가 되는 전환학습의 과정이었다.

영문 초록

The main objective of this study is to examine relation of transformative learning and moral development and meaning of moral developments in women become to be a politician. Specifically to study how can transformative learning affect to the moral development? How can perspective transformation affect to the change of action by critical reflection and rational discourse. This study has been conducted by qualitative methods through in-depth interviews with the selected 8 current or former women National and local parliament members. The findings of this study are the following: the women politicians found their existence as human being meaningful, especially in their commitments towards a caring society. In this process, their perspective transformations are playing a crucial role. According to results, what women to be a politician is a process of moral development through transformative learning. And this research also identified the role of emotion and importance of contexts. By doing critical reflection and rational discourse, women politicians learned value or moral what is connect between self and others and also what is settlement between selfishness and sense of responsibility. By doing so they had been qualified the virtue of care and adopted politics as their ethical behaviors. Upon the intensive internationalization of those value, women can transform herself as politician till their ontological transformation. In the end, the women politician believe they were called as politicians, and they committed fully themselves in making a caring society. Therefore, the process of women to be a politician is a process of to be a moral being through transformative learning
