국문 초록

21세기의 신자유주의와 정보화, 그리고 과학의 발달은 세계를 글로벌 사회로 변화를 주었다. 특히 우리 사회는 1990년대 이후 국제결혼의 증가와 외국인 노동자의 빠른 유입으로 인해 다문화사회로 빠르게 진입하였다. 다문화의 진전에 따라 형사사법 분야에서도 다문화가정과 그 2세들의 문제는 새로운 이슈가 되고 있다. 다문화가정은 구조적, 환경적 측면에서 한국인 가정에 비하여 확연히 다른 요소들을 포함하고 있기 때문이다. 또한 일반가정의 청소년들에 비해 더 많은 비행율과, 재범률 그리고 낮은 개선가능성 등은 형사사법 전 분야에 걸쳐 다문화 청소년의 비행문제에 대한 심각한 고민을 안겨줄 전망이다. 그러나 다문화가정의 청소년비행 문제에 대하여 국가적 차원에서의 인식은 아직은 미약할 뿐만 아니라 다문화 사회에서 야기될 수 있는 다양한 사회적 병리에 관한 연구도 역시 활발하게 이루어지지 못하고 있었던 것도 사실이다. 이 연구에서는 다문화가정의 청소년 비행예방을 위한 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The world became globalized thanks to neoliberalism, informatization and the development of science in 21st century. The increase of international marriage, and the rapid influx of foreign workers has rapidly switched our society into a multicultural society since 1990s. The acceleration of multiculturalization, therefore, caused several drawbacks on the second generation of multicultural family and their family has aroused controversy in the field of the criminal justice. In terms of structural and environmental side, multicultural family has distinctly different elements compared to a Korean family. More concerns for multicultural youth delinquency have seriously been posed to criminal justice due to heavier delinquency rates, recidivism rates and slight possibility of improvement than the youth of Korean households. At the national level, recognition about the severity of juvenile delinquency who are belong to multicultural family, however, is still insignificant. A variety of social pathologies study about problems which the multicultural society could be caused has not actively been made yet. Alternatives for preventing juvenile delinquency in the multicultural family would be proposed on the paper.
