요동지역과 압록강 유역의 청동기시대 형성과정

국문 초록

한반도 청동기기시대의 무문토기는 여러 가지 경로가 있었다고 논의되고 있으며, 그 지역마다 청동기시대 시작 양상이 다르다. 그런데, 무문토기 출토지 가운데서 한반도내에서 가장 이른 단계의 하나로 판단되는 압록강 유역은 요동지역과 가장 관계가 깊은 것으로 생각된다. 본고에서는 한반도 무문토기기원지로 주목되는 요동지방 및 압록강 유역의 청동기시대형성과정을 지리적으로 구분하여 각 지역의 신석기 후기부터 고고문화의 특징을 고찰하였다. 요동남부는 산동반도로부터 영향을 받아서 다른 지역에 비해서 비교적 이른 시기에 청동기시대가 되는 것으로 보이며 이러한 요동남부의 특징은 요동 내의 다른 지역과는 확연한 차이가 보인다. 요동북부~압록강하류~압록강중상류에서는 뇌문토기와 이중구연토기 혹은 호형의 돌대문토기라는 공통적인 신석기후기 특징을 보인다. 요동남부와는 달리, 이 지역은 청동기시대가 되더라도 신석기후기의 토기와 전혀 다른 이질적인 기형이 출현하는 현상은 없고, 토기가 무문화 되면서 발전된 형태로 변화한다. 또한 가까운 지점의 재지적 요소가 서로 받아들여져 발전하는 양상을 보인다. 따라서 요동지방 내에서도 요동남부와 그 외의 지역은 신석기시대에서 청동기시대로의 형성과정에 차이가 있다. 그 중에서도 요동의 북부지역은 압록강하류~중상류까지 영향을 미친것은 틀림없다.

영문 초록

It has been discussed that there are various routes of the plain coarse pottery in the Bronze Age of the Korean Peninsula. It shows different start aspect in each area. It is considered that the Aprok River basin, one of the most earliest areas where the plain coarse pottery was found in the Korean Peninsula, is deeply related with the Liaodong area. In this paper, I consider the feature of the archaeological culture of each area from the later Neolithic Age by separating geographically of the development of the Bronze Age of the Liaodong area and the Aprok River basin, focused as the emergence area of the plain coarse pottery of the Korean Peninsula. The southern Liaodong area entered the Bronze Age earlier than others by influencing from the Sandong peninsula. The feature is very different with other parts of the Liaodong area. In the northern Liaodong area ~ the downstream of Aprok River ~ the mid-upper stream of Aprok River, it shows common feature of the Later Neolithic Age as the thunder-pattern pottery, the double-rimed pottery or the Jar(壺)-shaped Doldaemun pottery. Even though the Bronze Age begins, there is no emergence of a new shaped pottery and it shows developmental change with patternless different with the southern Liaodong area. It shows progressive aspect with accepting indigenous elements each other among near places. Therefore, there is difference between the southern Liaodong and the other parts of the Liaodong are in development from the Neolithic Age to the Bronze Age. Most of all, there is no doubt that the northen Liaodong area influence to the downstream and the mid-upper stream of Aprok River.
